So I’ve been working with B.liv for a couple of months now and I have the privilegeย to be able to test a lot of their products out. ย One product I’m always on the look out for is a good sheet mask. ย They sent me couple of their “sheer off crease” upon me telling them my skincare needs. ย I always am skeptical when I’m testing new products out to see if it works or not, but these did not disappoint! ย Retailing for $25 for 10 sheet masks (and I have a coupon code for 20% off CHRISTINAH.BLIV), let’s see if this is worth your money and time shall we?ย (ยด๏ฝกโชฯโช๏ฝก๏ฝ)

How to use:
Once a week or when needed.
1) Wash your face with cleanser.
2) Leave the mask for 20-30 minutes.
3) Apply moisturizer after removing mask.
Product packaging:
These sheet masks come in a standard foil package with the sheet mask packaged inside of it. ย Once you rip it open, the Japanese silk mask is separated with a plastic ย which you have to remove before applying to the face. ย You will be able to see down in the pictures how it looks like when you first take it out.ย
Fit:
I do have to nit pick about is the area around the nose. ย This is one thing a lot of companies don’t think about, which is to just add two cuts right below the brows for the sheet mask to be able to sit properly.ย Other then that, the rest of the sheet mask fit well on my face and I didn’t have a problem with it sliding off my face at all.
Texture:
The material of this sheet mask is slightly thicker then the usual and even after the 20 minute mark, the sheet mask did not dry out, keeping the whole sheet mask still moist with the essence. ย I tested out the material to see if it was easily torn. ย When you try and stretch it, it doesn’t rip but you were to rip it like paper, it does rip.
The proof is in the numbers, this sheet mask really does make my skin feel super hydrated. ย I always test out the hydration by not using any products afterwards and go to sleep with just the essence soaked into my skin. ย I woke up with my skin still feeling moisturized, so the before and after numbers proves itself.
pH level:
pH level for this sheet mask is 5, meaning neutral. ย This also means it is the closest pH to human skin and shouldn’t irritate the skin.
Fragrance:
This sheet mask doesn’t really have a fragrance to it. ย It kind of has that clinical clean scent, maybe with a hint of floral but it is very faint. ย Smell-o-scale= 2/10
Effects/ Results:
When I am using this sheet mask, my skin feels cooler and as a slight tingly sensation. ย Once the 20 minutes are up, I wipe some of the essence off and pat in the rest, following it up with my usual moisturizer. When I first tested this sheet mask out, I went to bed without any moisturizer, just the essence soaked into my skin. ย I woke up to my skin still feeling hydrated, which is my indication that this is a good quality sheet mask.ย I can’t comment if theseย did anything for dark spots since I don’t really have any. ย My skin did look slightly brightened, but it is mainly because of the hydration. ย I did notice my smile linesย diminished after using the sheet mask.
Demo demo time :D. ย I don’t think I should wear a black t-shirt in the future haha. ย It makes the pictures look so dark, blah!
Once you take it out, it should look something like this. ย Sheet masks usually are separated with a piece of plastic so it is easier to unfold.
I hope you weren’t drinking tea HAHA. ย And I hope you didn’t spit it out :P.
This is usually how I put on my sheet masks, with my lips puckered and then I flatten the rest onto my skin.
The fit of this sheet mask is pretty good, it even covered my big forehead. ย Only compliment is the area around my nose is not sitting properly.
20 minutes is up. ย As you can see, the sheet mask is still moist and full of essence. ย Sign of a good quality sheet mask!
Pulling the sheet mask, it doesn’t break easily.
However if you purposely try and rip it, it does rip.
Now pat in the essence with your hand.
My skin looks nice and moisturized.
Pro:
-sheet mask material retains essence for long period of time
-super hydrating
-slight plumping effect
Con:
-fit around the nose needs improvement

Overall thoughts:
Out of all the sheet masks I have tried, this one from B.liv ranks one of the highest alongside Memebox’s Bon vivant sheet masks. ย I’ve tried sheet masks from My beauty diary, Etude House and such which have very thin and cheap sheet mask material with non-effective essences. ย This one from B.liv hydrates my skin very well, even when I only used the essence on my skin before going to bed, I stillย wokeย up to a face that does not feel tight. ย This says a lot for me because my skin is so dry, it drinks up any moisture easily. ย Overall I think this is a good sheet mask and will be exploring the rest of the sheet masks they have to offer and report back.
What do you think about this sheet mask? ย Have you tried any of B.liv sheet masks and what were your experiences with it? ย What other B.liv sheet mask do you want me to test out? ย Let me know in the comments down below and let’s start a conversation!

Wow, if this one provided so much moisture, I wonder what can be expected of the ones that are specifically for moisture? I’m always confused about ‘aqua surge’ or ‘moisture’ (i.e. mask to hydrate vs mask to moisturize). I thought one might be more ‘deep down’ and one more ‘on the surface’ but I have a feeling I’m totally wrong. Can you enlighten me? ^_^;;
Your photos are always so awesome. I find I have zero success in applying the mask on then peeling off the sheet; usually have to peel it off, then apply. But I, too, pucker my lips, LOL! ๐
Awesome review! Thanks, Christina!
I don’t really think there is a difference between “aqua surge” and “moisture”. I believe it is just a marketing saying. Sorry I don’t have much to say on this topic haha.
Glad I’m doing a good enough job for you guys to enjoy my reviews and pictures :). Oh I didn’t apply it with the plastic sheet haha. It was just the picture. I’m not that skilled HAHA.
