Romand juicy lasting tint bare juicy swatches & review

Romand juicy lasting tint swatches and reviewI think it is safe to say that Romand lip tints have now reached a legendary status, am I right?  At this point, I have tried a lot of Romand lip tints and I have to say, this Romand juicy lasting tint is my favorite.  At first, I only stuck to one color which was the Romand Juicy lasting tint in 22 pomelo skin.  I then ordered two more to test out, however, I mistaken one of the shades to be one I didn’t have.  So….. now we have only two shades to swatch HAHA.  Nonetheless, I got another shade which is also amazing and another go-to.  Let’s get into why this version would be my top recommended version of the Romand lip tint universe.

Romand juicy lasting lip tint swatch reviewPackaging:
To be able to identify this version of the Romand juicy lasting tint, you have to pick the one with the strip down the tube.  I’m finding a completely different series under the same name.  I wish they would have named this one “Romand juicy lasting creamy tint” because the colors have a slight creamy element to them.  I love that the packaging matches with the shade inside.

Romand lip swatches reviewInside is your average doe foot applicator, which works fine.  I love that the wand is clear, I think that’s a pretty detail to the packaging.  I don’t find the packaging to get messy, but I do find it doesn’t dispense enough product for my liking.

Romand juicy lasting lip tint swatchesColor/ Pigmentation + texture/ finish:
So my silly butt always thought the shade I was using before was 23 nucadamia, but in reality, it was actually 22 pomelo skin. 23 nucadamia seems to be quite popular and it is a more cool tone MLBB, so I get why it is always sold out.  I’m just upset about it because I can’t get my hands on it on Jolse haha.

Both shades have this gorgeous glossy and somewhat creamy look to it, making it one of Romand’s shades which has a bit of coverage.  I use 22 pomelo skin almost every time I wear makeup and it makes my lips look like I spent a lot of time lining and filling in my lips.  Nope!  I just slapped on some lip tint, which does all the work for me and stains it a bit even after the glossiness wears off.

Romand juicy lasting tint bare juicy in 22 pomelo skin swatch review22 pomelo skin: warm tone beige brown with a slight orange/ coral undertone
I never thought I would like a slightly orangey beige shade, but here we are.  I’m also not sure if it suits my skin tone, however, I’m too much in love with the shade to care (at the moment at least).  This is the perfect orangey beige shade that is very toned down and wearable.

Romand juicy lasting tint bare juicy in 25 bare grape review25 bare grape: Cool tone strawberry shade with light grape purple undertones
This has become a new favourite!!  It is the perfect cross between strawberry and grape.  Swatching on the hand, this looks more like a dusty rose leaning purple, but on the lips, it looks more like a better and more intense version of the Dior lip glow.  This is such a pretty shade and I now use this interchangeably with Romand juicy lasting tint in 22 pomelo skin.

Lasting power:
I wouldn’t say these have the strongest lasting power due to their subtle coloring.  I do however still find a subtle staining of the lips, making my lips more prominent and full-looking.  The glossy finish fades after 2 hours and it transfers if you are kissing or eating.  I wish there were more hydrating because I find my lips feeling getting flakey.  I’m not sure if it is just because my lips are always dry in the winter, but I always need to use something to top off my lips shortly after.

Fragrance?:
These smell DELICIOUS.  Both shades smell like mangos and it does fade after application.  Smell-o-scale: 6/10 in terms of how strong the scent is.

Pro:
-very pigmented
-high coverage on the lips but still let your natural lips shine
-lightly and evenly stains the lips

Con:
-could be more hydrating

Repurchase?:

Overall thoughts:
This has infiltrated my daily routine, and that is a hard thing to do for a brand since I try so many products on a daily.  Truly, this is the perfect Korean lip tint with almost every element that I’m looking for.  If they were able to create an updated formula with deeper hydration levels, it would be game over for ever other brand.  I’m still dying to try the two other shades in the same series, so I’ll update once I get my hands on those two as well.  Overall, I’d say get this specific series if you are looking for easy-to-wear shades for every day.  HOLY GRAIL!!!
