Product packaging:
This Klairs cream comes in a simple plastic jar, which is easy to recycle since it is all just plastic.ย Yes, I am a tree hugger, bite me.ย The design is super sleek and to the point.
Inside is a lid to keep everything from spilling out, however, I still find the product leaking out a bit on the edges.ย Over time, the cream starts to crust over on the sides and it kind of gets a little gross.
Texture/ Finish + effects/ results:
This water gel cream is just like the name suggests, a watery gel moisturizer that absorbs into the skin effortlessly but leaves a very hydrated and moisturized finish.ย There is no oiliness or heaviness left behind and this is truly another gel moisturizer that is suited for all skin types.ย The other gel moisturizer I’ve ever loved is Cosrx’s oil-free birch sap lotion.
The formula features 63.7% Camellia Sinesis leaf extract which calms the skin, brightens, provides antioxidant care, and helps with moisture retention. There is also:
–Rice extract (Oryza Sativa Extract): nourishing, brightening and moisturizing
–Hibiscus Esculentus Fruit Extract: high doses of vitamin C
–Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract & Laminaria Japonica Extract: antioxidants, anti-pollution and soothing abilities
–Artemisia Vulgaris Extract (aka. mugwort): anti-inflammatory, anti-acne agents
–Centella Asiatica Extract:ย potent antioxidant, rich in amino acids, hydrating, soothes
-Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract: calming effects, antioxidant

After you massage it into your skin, you are left with this beautifully hydrated skin with long-lasting hydrating and I definitely feel like my skin is plumper over time.ย I have used this moisturizer for a month and a half, especially when it was the hottest during June and July.ย This was the perfect go-to moisturizer if you need something light but effective.
Fragrance?:
There isn’t much fragrance to this but it does smell like clinical moisturizers, like the ones that get prescribed to you.ย Smell-o-scale: 4/10 in terms of how strong the scent is and it fades after application.
