Like I’ve said before, cleansers are not a product I like to review since it is the most boring product (to me at least).ย However, I have been coming across quite a few good ones these days, so I’ll take the time to introduce you guys to a new one.ย This time, it is from a brand called the Vegan glow, specializing in Korean vegan products!
What does vegan skincare mean?
For those of you who don’t know what a vegan lifestyle is, in short form, it is someone who lives on a plant-based, no animal by-product lifestyle.ย This includes no honey and no eggs since they are either produced by an animal or produced by some sort of living creature.ย I am not a vegan nor am I a vegetarian but I do appreciate vegan and cruelty-free products since it usually reduces the carbon footprint to produce and… THINK OF THE ANIMALS!
Why make the switch to vegan skincare?
Because vegan skincare is made with no ingredients derived from animals or animal by-product, they take up less energy to product and less water for the up keeping process.ย On top of that, the Vegan glow uses little to minimal packagings like no plastic for their shampoo bars or environmentally friendly packaging for an easier recycling process.ย

How to use:
Splash your face with some water and take a dime-size amount of the cleanser and massage it onto your face.ย Rinse and continue on with the rest of your routine.

The vegan glow mild foam cleanser comes in very simple packaging, a fully plastic tube, and a plastic cap with a pop-off top.ย This is kind of off-topic, but I had to clean my vanity recently and had a lot of lip tint and liquid lipstick containers that I had to get rid of but don’t know how to.ย It is a huge waste to just throw it in the garbage can but I also don’t know what recycling program would take it in.ย Not everyone thinks about this, but it stresses me out sometimes knowing I am contributing to the growing landfill!

Texture/ Finish:
Finding a face wash for dry skin during the wintertime is super important.ย I don’t want to be drying the heck out of my face with my spring and summer cleanser, so something mild and non-stripping is what I need.
This vegan glow mild foam cleanser comes in a gel form with little specks of white bits which I thoughts were exfoliating bits at first.ย Come to find out, it is actually the coconut ingredient that crystalized but it is supposed to be normal for this cleanser.
It doesn’t foam up much and feels super gentle on the skin.ย This is definitely a sensitive skin type friendly cleanser!ย My skin did not feel stripped at all and just felt healthy and satisfied.

Overall thoughts:
This is a solid cleanser, something I never thought I would find from a vegan formula!ย It is super gentle on the skin, doesn’t have any scent, and very sensitive skin-friendly.ย I am thoroughly impressed and would definitely recommend this.ย Two thumbs up <3.
