How to use:
Since this product doesn’t have SPF, you can use this day or night.ย After you have used your desired serums/ ampoules/ essences needed, massage enough on your face and neck until absorbed.
Product packaging:
Packaging for all of Amorepacific is quite consistent, with its sleek frosted grey exterior and a silver teardrop accent on the lid.ย Screwing off the lid reveals a plastic lid to keep everything airtight.ย One thing that surprised me is that there isn’t a spatula that comes with this cream.ย It might have came with one and I forgot but I’m very sure it didn’t come with one.
Texture/ Finish:
When I first got this cream, I was quite surprised that it wasn’t the same gel texture as the eye cream.ย But for me, thicker creams work better so I really didn’t mind.ย This cream is more of a cross over between a gel and a cream, not too thick but not too thin.ย Unfortunately for me, I didn’t find it moisturizing enough by itself or layered.ย But my mother, who prefers thinner, less greasy creams really loves this cream.ย She likes that it isn’t heavy on the skin, absorbs easily and doesn’t produce those weird bumps when she uses products that are too oily.ย Heck.. she already stole it from my vanity.ย That’s how much she loves this stuff.ย ย She has also stated that she noticed her pores were slightly more tightened and her complexion overall was more healthy looking and slightly brightened.ย This is coming from a lady in her 60’s that is super picky about her skincare and goes for facials twice a month.ย Every time she sees anything Amorepacific, she steals it from me and stating “oh its anti-aging. You don’t need it.”ย At this point, I have to lock up my products HAHA.
For me if I do want this product to work, I can only use it during the spring and summer since it isn’t moisturizing enough for me.ย But I can definitely see this cream working for those with normal or combination skin type.
pH level:
This product has a pH level of 5, meaning it has a pH level closest to human skin and most likely won’t irritate the skin.
Fragrance?:
There is a slight floral fragrance but it isn’t anything strong.ย Smell-o-scale= 6/10 in terms of how strong the scent is.ย I kind of wish it had the same natural tea smell as their wash off mask, but it is just that rich lady floral scent.ย At least it is the floral scent I can actually bare.
Pro:
-absorbs into the skin easily
-non-greasy
-effective (at least for my mother)

-not moisturizing enough for my needs as a late 20’s girl

Overall thoughts:
For me, this $150 face cream was slightly a disappointmentย since I was hoping it would have the same amazing plumping effect as their rejuvenating eye cream in the same line.ย It wasn’t moisturizing enough for my needs but it was perfect for my mother who is in her 60’s.ย I think I got her hooked onto Amorepacific products hehe.ย Overall I think this cream wasn’t built for me but more for my mother and I’d recommend it if you either like non-greasy, lightweight moisturizers and need a kick in the anti-aging department.
