One of the struggles of using lip tints is trying to get those darn things off your lips!ย Even through cleansing oil, scrubbing (I know it isn’t good for the lips but I’m desperate) and couple of tears and bruised looking lips from purple lip tints, I came across a foil sample of the A’pieu tint remover.ย I swear they make it almost impossible for the tints to leave your lips just so you can buy things like this.ย But the desperate me wanted to see if it would work, and sure enough it did!ย So I got my a couple of different “tint removers” from different companies to see how they preform.ย First contender?ย A’pieu’s tint remover :).ย Now let me show you the unicorn magic in this bottle. Let’s go!

How to use:
Simple squirt some of this tint remover on your finger and massage away the lip tint off your lips!
Packaging:
Packaging is nothing special.ย It just comes in a small pump bottle and depending on the size you buy, the bottle size will also be slightly bigger (obviously.).ย You can control the pump relatively well but you can’t really control it well if you need only a small amount.ย I usually get a little bit too much and end up tasting it, which is so not pleasant because it’s slightly bitter and tastes like I’m licking a bar of soap.ย Blah!
Texture/ Finish:
The texture of this tint remover is just a lightweight gel formula that you can rub into your lips easily.ย It isn’t thick but it also isn’t watery, somewhere in between.
Fragrance?:
This thing has a strong soapy floral scent and you best believe to not use too much because instead of just smelling it, you’ll also be tasting those nasty soapy flowers.ย I’ve done that on a couple of occasions and it didn’t taste good to say the least.ย The scent doesn’t really go away after application, so if you are sensitive to scent, this may be a problem for you.ย Smell-o-scale: 7/10 in terms of how strong the scent is.
Okay, let’s try this baby out.
Here are my lips with a tint that can’t come off with regular oil-based makeup remover or even cleansing oil!ย I actually don’t mind this color on my lips because it looks natural and has a nice tint of red.ย But when I’m swatching like 10 lip tints for you guys or something that stains my lips, I look like the corpse bride sometimes with a mixture of dark purple and red on my lips.ย I look like I did the Kylie Jenner challenge that went wrong…ย I do not wish to leave the house like that.
Simply take your finger and massage the tint remover onto your lips and watch the tint melt away!
And then wipe away with a cotton pad or rinse away with some water.
And viola!ย No more tint on the lips whoo whoo!ย Just an FYI, my lips are naturally really red, so this is really my bare lips and not the tint still on my lips.
Pro:
-works well in removing stained lips
-decent size
-affordable price
Con:
-fragrance quite strong
-tastes badddddd

Overall thoughts:
I think this product does its job and also is super affordable, even for the larger size.ย I have no problems with it at all but I’d still like to try more tint removers to see which ones are the best ones.ย Overall I don’t really have much to say but this product works and I’d definitely recommend it for those of you who don’t like to walk around with deeply stained lips.
