I’m going to have to be honest.ย Although I’m super anal about moisturizing my face, the body is somewhere in which I always forget to moisturize.ย I’ve only really tried a handful of body lotions in my lifetime but I always want something that is lightweight and absorbs into the skin easily.ย Beigic was a brand that’s been on my radar for a while and was pleasantly surprised to have received their body lotion to test out.ย Bringing a ton of products with me on my road trip up North, this was one of the products that actually saved my butt.ย The water up there was way drier and thank god I had this lotion!ย Let’s get into the review and dissect into who are Beigic and what do they stand for.

Before you roll your eyes at another vegan, clean skincare brand, yes there are a lot of them right now and it is the “it” thing to do and has been for the past couple of years.ย I personally don’t mind the trend and am happy companies are at least going in the right direction and being more mindful when creating a brand and products.ย I also love discovering more vegan brands since I know there are tons of you out there who live the vegan lifestyle.

How to use:
Take a sufficient amount in your palms and massage into your body after you’ve taken a shower.
Product packaging:
All of Beigic’s packaging is very minimal and millennial Instagram friendly.ย The sleek design and simplistic approach is very appealing and if you are ever wondering what the number is on the packaging, that number represents the number of ingredients used in the product itself.ย This body lotion comes in a tall and skinny hard plastic bottle with a pump which you can lock.
I kind of wish the pump was a little bit bigger since it takes me about 3-4 pumps to cover one leg when it could just be one fat pump of product.
To lock it, you simply follow the arrow and twist it to fully lock it.ย I brought this with me in a tote bag and had no problems with it unlocking and squirting everywhere.
Texture/ Finish:
The texture of this body lotion is very lightweight and absorbs into the skin without any sticky, greasy residue.ย My clothes didn’t stick to it either when it wasn’t fully dry yet and my boyfriend (who is a huge AHH ITS STICKY, don’t touch me kinda dude) enjoyed this body lotion surprisingly.ย When you get the man approval, you know its good.
With plant-derived squalane and cactus pear extract, no wonder it is so hydrating.ย Squalane is praised for its hydrating abilities, leaving your skin plump, soft, and supple.ย Cactus pear extract is a rich source of Vitamin C and flavonoid and Panthenol helps with engaging in skin tissue recovery and strengthening the skin barrier.
Fragrance?:
The fragrance is described to have rosemary and mandarin essential oil, which is exactly what I’m smelling.ย The rosemary offers a refreshing, green scent profile while the mandarin oil gives it that awakening, freshness to wake you up in the morning.ย Overall, the scent is a bit on the masculine side but also in a feminine sexy way, kind of like you stole your boyfriend’s cologne in the morning.ย Smell-o-scale: 6/10 in terms of how strong the scent is and the fragrance does fade after application.

Overall thoughts:
I really enjoyed this body lotion and it actually makes me want to continue to remember to use body lotion.ย The last body lotion which I really enjoyed was from Klavuu and that was nice was as well.ย I love what the brand stands for, I love that most of the products are based on using green coffee beans for that added caffeine to awake your skin cells.ย Overall I give this product a two thumbs up and you can find them at Chicor in Korea, Anthropologie in USA as well as Amazon (link up above).
