Dr. Belmeur advanced cica recovery cream review I Holy grail cica moisturizer

I don’t know why I haven’t written a review for one of my most beloved moisturizers.  I’ve been savouring this moisturizer and have finished it completely now, but will definitely look into repurchasing it for the wintertime.  Although I do find most The Face Shop products to not be that great, or I just haven’t found gems from the brand, Dr. Belmeur is one of those hidden gems from the brand.  Since I’ve tried some Dr. Belmeur products, they have expanded their range so much more and I’m looking forward to discovering more from them.  Let’s get into the review but you already know I love this hahahaha.

How to use:
After cleansing, toning, and any desired serum/ essence/ ampoule, finish off your routine with the Dr. Belmeur advanced cica recovery cream.

Product packaging:
One thing I wish they would improve on is the bulkiness of the jar.  Both versions of the moisturizer come in this large jar that takes up so much room in my vanity.  Inside, there is the standard second lid to keep everything nice to air-tight.  I’m definitely not saying I don’t like the overall design and I kind of get why they went with the jar and overall aesthetic, but I just need them to slim it down!

Texture/ Finish + hydration level:
Dr. Belmeur advanced cica recovery cream has one of the most satisfying and unique textures I’ve tried for a long time.  The cream has a balmy texture that melts into my dry skin with ease, leaving a protective layer that offers me nourishment and hydration that slowly seeps into my skin overnight.  When I wake up in the morning, my skin feels plumped, hydrated and there’s still some of that “slickness” (aka. hydration for me) on the inner parts of my cheeks.  For those who don’t have super dehydrated or dry skin, you might find this a little heavy for you, so many check out their Dr. Belmeur cica hydro cream instead.  The mix of centella, niacinamide, panthenol, ceramide NP, and a lot of different nut oils are definitely the reason why my skin was maintained so well throughout the time I had this cream.

Ugh looking at this picture, it makes me crave for this cream again T_T.  Come back to meeee.  I can’t justify adding another cream back into my collection as I have too many open at the moment.

Fragrance?:
There’s a very faint citrusy scent but it is barely there.  Smell-o-scale: 3/10 in terms of how strong the scent is and it faints after application.

Pro:

Overall thoughts:
There’s not much left to say after I professed my love to this moisturizer.  Dr. Blemeur’s advanced cica recovery cream has easily slide into my DM and won himself a holy grail stamp of approval.  The texture, the ingredients, everything about it is just perfect. Aside from the bulky packaging, he’s perfect.  Get it, get it, get it!  I love love this moisturizer and will have to pick me up another jar soon.  I miss him.
