At this point in my blogging journey, mystery boxes aren’t really necessary since I have the privilege as a blogger to have access to so many different brands and I have had so much experience with so many different products.ย But when Jolse came out with a lucky random box for $39.99, curiosity killed the cat and I pulled the trigger.ย I’ll use the excuse that this was for science.ย This really reminds me of the old Memebox days when we paid $19 for a box of curated products depending on the theme.ย Oh, how I miss those days :(.ย Let’s inbox Jolse’s random box and see if this is worth the money!
Because shipping for the whole world is such a shit show right now, majority of Jolse’s orders are being fulfilled by DHL and they can only ship to 14 different countries at the moment.ย If you are scared that the box would get mangled with shipping, the mystery box was in the pink box, bubble wrapped to death, and placed in another cardboard box.ย Shipping to Canada with DHL was $14 for me, but I did use my store credits gifted to me by Jolse.
The posting is gone on Jolse’s website but this was what it said.ย Out of the four products above, 2 would be included in your mystery box.ย For $39.99, you get 7-9 full-size products as well as 3 to 5 mini/ deluxe samples.ย I’m honestly surprised this box didn’t get sold out immediately and stayed in stock for 3 days.
I actually got too excited with unboxing that I took pictures, posted it on Instagram, and then broke down everything.ย When I remembered to take pictures for the blog and pulled out the products I put away, the Let me skin toner wasn’t actually supposed to be apart of this haha.ย Ma bad.

I put a plus sign at the end amount because it doesn’t factor in the Innisfree Jeju volcanic blackheads out balm since I can’t find it on Jolse.ย There are also deluxe samples as well, so the whole box’s value is well over $130.ย Do I think this box is worth the money?ย Hell yea!ย And if you are wondering if they made this mystery box because they were just trying to get rid of soon-to-expire products, nope!ย The only product that has a somewhat close expiration date is the DMCK moisturizer with an expiration date in November.
To my surprise too, everything works with my dry skin!ย I might not try the Innisfree Jeju blackheads balm since those things never work for me and I just have to manually extract them.ย Overall I’m super satisfied with this box and highly recommend you guys jump on their future mystery box or even their Jolse boxes which usually are $40 as well!
