Product packaging:
I absolutely love the packaging for this cream.ย It translates really well what their brand stands for and you can tell they put a lot of thought into it. The jar comes with a twist-off cap and the top is a light pastel green.ย Believe this moisturizer also came with one of those plastic spatulas, but those just get flung into oblivion.
Although it is plastic, it feels high quality and almost has the weight of a glass jar.ย Inside after you twist off the lid, there is also a plastic lid to keep everything airtight.
Texture/ Finish:
I’m always a bit iffy when it comes to lotion type moisturizers since it never moisturizes my skin enough.ย To my surprise, I wake up in the morning feeling refreshed and hydrated without the heaviness that I usually enjoy.ย I think it has to do with the Squalene content in this cream that makes it surprisingly hydrating.
Like I mentioned up able, the texture is a lightweight lotion and it takes about a minute to absorb into the skin.
It is almost a balmy feeling to the skin but doesn’t feel heavy whatsoever.ย I’m surprised the Squalene doesn’t feel oily in this moisturizer since Squalene usually stays on the skin for hours with a greasy feeling.ย You can tell in person that there is a nice healthy glow to your skin and I can definitely see this as a moisturizer all skin types could love, especially my combo skin people.ย With my dry skin, I can’t just rely on this unfortunately but I have to layer it with other products as well.
Fragrance?:
Although Citrus Aurantium Bergamia (Bergamot) Fruit oil is listed as the fragrance in this cream, it doesn’t smell citrusy at all.ย In fact, it smells very baby product-like, kind of hospital, sterile, nursing titty cream-like.ย It pretty much has no scent with smell-o-scale: 2/10 in terms of how strong the scent is and the scent immediately disappears once it is applied to the skin.

Overall thoughts:
I am highly impressed with this cream.ย I was quite surprised when I saw that it had only 12 ingredients and was still able to perform so well.ย Make Prem is not another “clean beauty” brand that was just created because of the movement.ย This is a brand that has been around since the late 2000s as well, so they are not bandwagon rides but one of the few pioneers from back in the day.ย Overall I’m highly impressed with this product and definitely recommend it to anyone that is looking for something with little to no fragrance, lightweight but moisturizing all at the same time.ย Good Job Make Prem!
