Eyeshadow primer has always been a staple in my collection, but I haven’t found a good one I would want to repurchase.ย The only K-beauty eyeshadow primer that is decent is Etude House’s eyeshadow primer, but even that one I find to be a little too greasy.ย I’ve also tried Too faced shadow insurance and of course Urban Decay primer potion but I’ve never been truly satisfied.ย This Missha color fix eye primer was yet another product is highly rated and it is super affordable.ย I’m looking at the Missha Korean site and its on sale for $2.30!ย That is crazy~~ย They also have two other shades which I would love to track down, but for now, it will just be the original with no color.

How to use:
On your bare eyelid, apply enough all over the lid and blend and continue on with your eyeshadow.
Packaging:
The tube is super bland and boring, and it really isn’t all that attractive.ย But what’s important is the product itself.ย It comes in this plastic tube with a doe foot applicator.ย I do wish it was in a squeeze tube instead for sanitary purposes, but we’ll survive.
The doe foot is just your standard size.
Texture/ Finish:
Right after the bat, the texture is not as greasy, oily or slick as the other eyeshadow primers I have tried.ย It has a thicker cream like consistency but blends out to almost a matte texture.ย I find my eyeshadows blend so much easier, doesn’t skip, and doesn’t bunch up like others.ย The original looks quite in the tube but blends into nothingness.ย It is so on point!
Sorry, this picture isn’t in focus, but you can definitely see the difference with and without a primer.ย To the left, the swatches look powdery, not as pigmented or bright while the right (with primer) is much more vibrant.ย Even the matte shades are more “stable” looking if that makes any sense.ย The shimmer shade is soooo much more vibrant and glided on the skin way better.
Lasting power:
No problems here, this eyeshadow keeps my lids oil free all day and my eyeshadow does not budge or smudge.
Fragrance?:
No fragrance detected
Pro:
-great matte finish
-eyeshadows glide spledidly
-shadows look much more vibrant and easier to blend
Con:
Nothing!
Repurchase?:
Yes, I would love the matte brown one!

Overall thoughts:
I can’t believe I’ve been sleeping on this gem!ย This is by far the best eyeshadow primer I have tried and just makes my life so much easier.ย Heck, I would even say you can use this primer by itself if you want to control the oil on your eyelids.ย My eyeshadows are much more vibrant, it is just hydrating enough that my eyelids don’t get flakey and everything just works much better.ย Overall two thumbs up and you definitely have to get yourself a tube!
