Missha glow ampoule concealer reviewPackaging:
I love the teardrop like plastic tube and the holographic glow logo is just perfect. The doe foot application is also super strange and kind of hard to pull out of the tube.

MIssha glow ampoule concealer reviewThe doe foot applicator has a flat surface, making it much easier to apply a ton of product in one swipe. The end of the doefoot does make it a little difficult to pull it out.ย  I’m always scared I’m going to make a mess since I have to pull it out relatively hard.

Missha glow ampoule concealer review swatchesColor/ Pigmentation:
Unfortunately, this concealer only has two shades.ย  It is even worst than roadshow brands’ shade ranges, which usually consist of 3 to 4 shades.ย  I did get both of them just in case but I was going to only get shade #23 sand.

Shade #21 vanilla is a cool tone, slightly pink undertone color that would correspond well to the usual #21 you’d find in Korean base make u.ย  Shade #23 is a strong yellow undertone and works well with my Mac NC25 yellow skin tone.ย  I would use shade 21 vanilla to highlight and use under the eyes and shade #23 on the rest of my face to cover blemishes.

Missha glow ampoule concealer reviewLet’s test this out and I’ll walk you through it.

Missha glow ampoule concealer reviewHere is my bare skin with nothing but lip balm. My skin is quite irritated and there is a blemish mark on my nose from me having to puncture my skin to get to a deep whitehead.ย  Don’t freak out about me puncturing my own skin, I’m quite good at it and I made sure to sanitize my equipment beforehand.

MIssha glow ampoule concealer reviewTexture/ Finish + coverage:
The texture of the concealer is not overall dry or thick, it is a somewhat watery concealer that blends easily into the skins and leaves a hydrating feeling.ย  This concealer does not perform well under the eyes and I had it creasing like a mofo in two hour time. It looked super crepe-y, so I would definitely not recommend anyone use it as an undereye concealer.

Missha glow ampoule concealer reviewTo cover up the redness on the cheeks, this worked just fine and didn’t cling onto dry patches.

Missha glow ampoule concealer reviewCovering the redness on my nose, it did a decent job but it clung onto the dead skin there, which is to be expected.ย  The coverage is definitely low to medium and is buildable but it wouldn’t be covering any tattoos or severe redness.

Missha glow ampoule concealer reviewNow for the undereyes, which I highly recommend no one do with this concealer.ย  I did not even put that much and it settled into all of my fine lines.ย  Yikesssss….

MIssha glow ampoule concealerSorry for the slightly blurring picture, but the concealer does do a half-decent job with covering dark circles.

Missha glow ampoule concealer reviewI mean, it is already kind of crepe-y here.ย  Yea please don’t apply it under the eyes.

Missha glow ampoule concealer reviewLasting power:
On the face without any setting powder, these concealers lasted a decent 6 hours before fading.ย  Of course, my nose faded much faster than my cheeks.ย  This is definitely not a concealer to go to if you need high coverage since you can still see where my redness and marks are.ย  This would be a good concealer for those who want the “my face but better” look without having the perfected, flawless, high-glam look.

Overall thoughts:
This is not a bad concealer but it is not memorable either.ย  I can’t use it under the eyes, it doesn’t have at least a medium coverage and there are only two shades.ย  Although I love the idea of an ampoule concealer like Bobbi Brown’s, this did not execute as well as the rest of the glow line.ย  I’m low-key disappointed but will still find a use for these concealers.ย  Overall it is an okay score but a pass for me.
