Yet another awarding-winning product on Glowpick.ย Yes, I know, I’m kind of unoriginal at this point.ย I always forget to screenshot those award rankings, because now I can’t find it!ย Anyways, Needly was on the list of top 5 pads ranked by consumers and they just so happen to be on Jolse at the time.ย I used to use soaked toner pads on a daily and my go-to was Cosrx’s moisture-up pads.ย But I think the whole wasting cotton pads and reusable cotton pads subconsciously made me more aware of the waste I’m creating, so I’ve just been leaning off of them.
However, if the pads rank so high up and so many people love them, I must try it in the name of science!ย I’ve been using it daily for the last month. Let’s get into the review!

I have to say, these pads are HUGE!. The jar it comes with is also huge.ย I have both this pad container and my mug, and in the corner of my eye, I can’t tell which one is which.ย Not only are the pads huge measuring 8 cm in radius, the pads are also swimming in essence.ย Usually soaked toner pads are soaked enough that it won’t dry out for a couple of months, but they then usually end up getting a bit dry at the end of their life.ย You will have NO PROBLEM here.ย It is so soaked, that I’m pretty sure you can make two sets of sheet masks out of your own cotton pads afterward too.
Texture/ Finish:
The cotton has the standard softness with the rippled textured for mild exfoliation.ย I personally don’t know if it does actually exfoliate the skin, but I know it does help with the cotton pad not ripping apart when I use the pad to mangle my face.

Honestly, the back of my hand isn’t going to tell you much about the pads.ย The essence from the pads gives me a nice refreshing start to the day for me.ย I usually use these in the morning when I’m too lazy to go and rinse my face with water.ย I just wipe down my face, use some essence, vitamin C to combat hyperpigmentation from the UV rays, moisturizer, and sunscreen.
You can definitely feel Artemisa and Centella soothing your skin, allantoin soothing and protecting your skin, and tea tree leaf extract to aid in present or future blemishes.ย Throughout the two months of my using these pads, my skin was stabilized and didn’t seem to have any irritation issues of any sort.ย In terms of the chemical exfoliation, I can’t say for sure if it did in fact keep my dry patches at bay since I still use a physical exfoliator once a week on top of that.
Fragrance?:
There is a light scent of artemisia and Centella, but it is very light and quite pleasant in my opinion.ย Smell-o-scale: 6/10 in terms of how strong the scent is and it does fade after application.

Overall thoughts:
I think these toner pads are definitely refreshing to use first thing in the morning.ย The texture of the essence is light yet still hydrating.ย The combination of artemisia and Centella in the formula really does seem to soothe and calm my skin while mildly exfoliating the skin.ย Overall I’m very pleased with these pads and will recommend them if you are interested in them!
