I’m going to make this clear and say this is not a review but more of a first look since I didn’t get a pimple or break out when I received this. Hence I don’t think this would be a fair “review” if I never got the chance to get the full experience.ย The other times I would use pimple patches is if I had a deep whitehead which I had to break the skin to get to, I would use these babies to cover it so it doesn’t scab over and doesn’t discolor my skin in the long run.ย Most patches I’ve come across use the same material and others try to be fancy by adding things like Centella to soothe the skin.ย Either way, a pimple patch is a pimple patch to me and they’re all pretty much the same.ย So let’s jump into it and compare it to the popular Cosrx pimple patches!

How to use:
Cleanse and dry the skin thoroughly. Remove a patch from the film. Apply it onto the targeted area. Gently press the edges of the patch with fingers for 2-3 seconds.
Product packaging:
These pimple patches come in a zip lock baggie which is reusable.ย Inside are two sealed sheets, each package containing the difference sizes included.
Fit + texture:
Neogen’s pimple patch is definitely much thinner then Cosrx acne pimple master patches but are similar to Cosrx clear fit master patch in terms of its thickness.ย Neogen’s spot patches actually contain more patches than Cosrx clear fit master patch but does run you 6,000 won compared to 3,500 won.
Neogen’s patches also have the same cushioning in the center so it can suck out all the sebum.ย These are matte as well, so they do look natural on the skin if you do choose to go out with them.ย I noticed a lot of people in Korea going out with pimple patches and its normalized, whereas here in North America, I’ve never seen such thing and people might give you a weird look if you did that.
Can you see how thin these are?ย And ew, my fingers are crusty LOL.ย I swear I use a lot of hand cream, but my skin just peels sometimes and I can’t do much about it.
Can you see the difference in thickness comparing Cosrx acne pimple master patch to Neogen’s? I wish I could find my pack of Cosrx clear fit master patch but it was nowhere to be found!

Overall thoughts:
This really is the worst review I’ve ever written solely for the fact that I can’t give an accurate review.ย Most pimple patches are the same to me and by default, most people would buy Cosrx’s since it is affordable and easily accessible on Amazon.ย I think these Neogen spot patches have a great built and are super thin on the skin and is very comparable to the Cosrx clear fit master patch.ย It is up to you to decide if these are worth it for you or not.ย Do let me know how you like these over the Cosrx’s as I can’t try them myself.
