Cleansers were one of my least favorite products to review, but now the tables have turned.ย Since running somewhat low on my beloved Cosrx low pH good morning gel cleanser, I’ve been on the hunt to find the next best.ย Since Purito has been steadily taking a runner up, their cleanser has been at the forefront of my mind.ย A month and a half later, I’m ready to report!ย Let’s get into it ;).

How to use:
After you have moistened your skin, massage an appropriate amount of product for a minute or two and rinse off.
Product packaging:
The packaging is never really interesting with Purito but that never stops me from loving their products because I know (here comes the cheeseball), its what is inside that counts.ย I love that it has a pump though!!ย Pumps are always welcome for my vanity but it isn’t as easy to travel with.
Texture/ Finish:
Texture of this cleanser is a light gel that is slightly watery but surprisingly not sticky from the snail secretion. This cleanser doesn’t foam up a ton, which I actually like since my skin doesn’t feel extra dry afterward.ย Once I’ve rinsed my face off,ย it instantly feels softer and supple!!ย It claims to be able to take off makeup but I never rely on a cleanser solely to remove my make up always since I wear waterproof mascara and eyeliner in my eye. For detail removal, I still use a Q tip and remove it that way since cleanser in my eyeball is never a good thing.
Fragrance?:
The fragrance is a little bit strong in the cleanser ranking at a smell-o-scale of 6/10 with the scent fading after it has been rinsed off.ย I do actually enjoy the fresh cucumber with a hint of floral scent but I can see some people not liking it.ย Fragrance ranks super low in the ingredients list so I don’t see it as a problem.ย

Overall thoughts:
Overall I think this is a fantastic cleanser that I can confidently recommend to all skin types!ย It is gentle and mild on the skin while leaving it better than before UGH.ย I know some people can’t use the Cosrx low pH good morning gel cleanser because of the tea tree built into it.ย A lot of people have told me that it dries them out and I’d say their milk cleanser is your second option, but Purito’s is definitely the next best thing if you just want a simple gel cleanser to do the trick.ย Two thumbs up and I give you the recommendation thumb to go get it!
