Last product review for Thank you farmer’s rice line is their rice pure gel and cream.ย If you haven’t read the other two reviews (cleanser and toner), make sure to check those out afterward.ย I’ve always tried to get into the duo moisturizer trend but it never seems to work out.ย The whole concept is great, but have I found one that has worked for those with super dry skin like mine?ย Not really.ย Will this thank you farmer moisturizer be different?ย Let’s see!

How to use:
Mix the two textures of cream with the desired amount and apply it onto the face evenly.
Product packaging:
This moisturizer comes in a hard plastic jar with a lid on the inside to keep everything sanitary and airtight.ย I’m not too sure if there was a spatula that came with it or not since they usually get tossed into my huge collection of spatulas.
Inside has the two moisturizers which look less pretty after you’ve used it for a bit.ย I’d actually rather have this in a split jar then having it like an egg where the thicker cream is floating in the gel moisturizer.
Texture/ Finish:
The gel moisturizer is a thicker gel moisturizer than the watery ones I imagined.ย It melts into your skin when you massage it into your skin and leaves the skin with a nice light layer of hydration, however, it is not enough for my dry skin.
The thicker cream on the inside is also on the light side and definitely not as thick/ creamy enough for my skin.ย I wish there were heavier ingredients like mango seed butter or cocoa butter included in the “thicker” cream.
Even when I mixed the two together, it still was not enough for my super dehydrated skin.ย This product is definitely built for those with normal to combination skin since you can get the best of both worlds but both moisturizers are on the light side.ย There is a layer of moisture on my skin however it all goes away in two hours and I wake up to rough and dry skin in the morning.

Overall thoughts:
This is definitely not the product for my dry skin.ย Those with normal to combination skin would love this as it has just enough moisture for you and you get to pick from two textures in one jar.ย I’m definitely a little sad that it didn’t work out but at the same time, I kind of saw it coming.ย Overall this isn’t the product for you if you have super dry skin like me but definitely check out their rice toner from the same line!!
