With more and more information leaking into the world about how animals are being harmed and even the fish we eat aren’t as ethical as you think, I’ve been on a hunt to find more vegan and cruelty-free options.ย I am no stranger to the Vegan glow as a brand and even got to try their good night cream and liked it.ย They sent me the rest of their line to test out through being an ambassador for the last couple of months.ย
People who choose to become vegan or vegetarian aren’t crazy.ย They choose to care about the world one way or another and is their way of supporting that belief through a lifestyle, and I really admire that.ย I think I’m slowly going to lean myself into becoming a vegetarian and try to save the environment that way.ย Fish isn’t as sustainable or eco-friendly, even if there is that blue checkmark that says it is a sustainable source (which is not, by the way, it’s all a marketing scam).ย If you want to learn more, watch the new documentary on Netflix Seaspiracy.ย If that doesn’t scare you straight, I don’t know what will.

Both creams come in an airtight tube which I frinkin’ love.ย Airtight containers keep all types of bacteria out and is just an easy way to dispense the product.
Both of the tubes are the same color with the green lid.ย On top of the lid though is either a moon for the night cream or the sun for the day cream.
Texture/ Finish + hydration level:
Both creams actually have quite a similar ingredients list, with just a couple of ingredients that are a little different.ย The day cream contains ceramides, Rosemary leaf oil, Centella, and Madecassoside while the night cream uses Shea butter, Arginine, Sodium Hyaluronate, and Centella as well.ย The good-morning cream is slightly lighter than the good night cream, but both are quite similar to each other.
Both take little to no time to absorb into the skin and they give about the same results.ย The good-morning cream is slightly lighter than the good night cream, but the difference is barely noticeable on my dry skin.ย I do find this an effective cream for me during the spring and summer when my skin is still quite dry. I did find my skin calmed and hydrated throughout the day with the benefits of ingredients like Centella and Madecassoside.

Overall thoughts:
This is a great moisturizer and considering it is an all-vegan product, I’m quite thoroughly impressed.ย Although I can’t use it during the wintertime due to the harsh winters and low humidity where I live, I still can enjoy these two creams during the spring and summer months :).ย I love that it comes in an airtight tube and I believe the cardboard box is a recycled material as well.ย Overall these are great little picks and you can check them out on their website.ย
