Sheet mask has become a source of hydration injection for me. ย Although I’m usually too lazy to use them and most of the time I forget, when my skin looks dry and dull, I always slap one on. ย Wish Formula came out with a repackage of theirย snail sheet mask and they were looking for 10 testers to try and review their product and I was chosen to be one of them. ย Snail secretion has been a well loved ingredient in the East for it’s moisturizing properties with it’s natural nutrients such as hyaluronic acid and glycoprotein enzymes as well as it’s ability to simulate production of collagen and elastin. ย Now that we know a little about our escargot friends, let’s get started with the review!

How to use:
After you have cleansed and toned your face, apply this sheet mask to the face and leave it on for 15-20 minutes. ย After the time is up, take the sheet mask off and proceed to massage the leftover essence into the skin and continue on with the rest of your skincare routine.
Product packaging:
I’m not quite sure if this product is a completely new product from Wish Formula or is it just a repackaged version of their older one. ย They both of the exact same name and the description is the same so I’m assuming this one is just a repackaged version of that one. Theย packagingย for this is quite standard,ย with it’s foil packet which you can rip open on top.
The front and the back of the packaging has a sticker to indicate which sheet mask this is. ย The label on the back actually has sufficient English to get you through using this product. ย They even have the ingredients in English which is quite rare! ย Whoo~~ ย Less work and looky for me haha.
Let’s start with the demo and I will explain as I go.
My skin hasn’t been at it’s best lately. ย I have a feeling it is maybe because my period is on it’s way, so I’m getting few red bumps here and there. ย I’m also getting some brown spots around the left side of my cheeks which I’m suspecting it maybe from not remembering to wear sunscreen (yes yes I know, shame on me) and the sun hits me on the left side of my face more from driving. ย If you know exactly what it is on the left side of my face and know how to reduce it, please let me know in the comments down below!
My usual skin concerns is to reduce the redness around my cheeks, moisturize my skin and a miracle product to drop from heaven for my dark under eye circles.

Start time!
Texture (sheet mask + essence) :
This may be one of the most thick, or the most thick sheet mask I have tried to date. ย Usually if you buy cheapo masks for around 90 cents-$2, you may end up with ones that are paper thin and would tear easily but this one for sure you won’t be able to tear. ย Think Bouncy kitchen paper towels, stack them with three to four sheets and that is how thick it is. ย Pulling it, this sheet mask shows no signs of ripping orย stretching. ย Taking the mask out of the packet, there doesn’t seem to be any excess essence dripping since the mask is so thick, it must have soaked it all up.
The essence itself is clear, slightly running but seems to be very moisturizing to the skin.
Fit (sheet mask):
When I first pulled it out of the packaging, I already noticed the holes being noticeably larger then usual. The eye holes are the size of panda’s black patch of fur around the eyes, the nose is the size of a koala’s nose and the mouth is the size of a monkfish’s.
The sheet mask fit itself is a little awkward due to the giant holes it has, especially the mouth hole. ย The cheeks area, I needed to pleat the mask a bit so the mask could sit flat but the mouth area wasn’t easy to make it stay put. ย Because the mask itself is on the thicker side, the mask around my chin area kept wanting to peel off which is an absolute pain. The nose flap is fine but I just don’t like the extra bit flipping and flopping when I’m breathing so I chose to fold it up. Overall the fit isn’t that great and I hope to see them improve on that.
Time to just sit, relax and look at the ceiling.
15 minutes has passed and my sheet mask doesn’t seem to be even have dried one bit! ย
Seems like the thick texture is for a good cause. ย I just wish there was more sheet mask material for the jaw. ย What if someone’s face is larger then mine? ย It might not even cover their chin!
Massage the essence into your skin and proceed with the rest of your skincare routine.
It seems like the redness around my cheeks has diminished and my skin feels very hydrated.
One thing I do have to note, when I had the mask on my face, there was a slight tingly/stinging sensation. ย I don’t know what ingredient is doing that to my skin, but it kind of felt like my face was being stimulated or something. ย I’m pretty sure it wasn’t an allergic reaction because it didn’t burn nor did my skin react badly afterwards. ย Very odd…
Moisture level measurements:
I think the numbers can speak for itself. ย Yes, this is yet another sheet mask that has come to me and is one of those ones where I feel like just the essence itself on my skin is enough and I don’t need to moisturize any further. ย Of course, I still continue with my moisturizer since I want my skin to be protected but this sheet mask injects the skin like no other.
Fragrance?:
To my memory, I believe this mask had either a slight floral scent to it or almost to the point of not having a scent. ย Smell-o-scale= 3/10 in terms of the strength of the fragrance.
Pro:

Overall thoughts:
I think this mask has provide to me another on my good list and one I’d recommend if you are looking for tons of hydrating. ย Snail products honestly can’t do anyone wrong and with the thick sheet mask material, it lets the skin soak it all up before evaporating into thin air. ย Overall I think this sheet mask is wonderful but I’d like to see them improve on the cut and add an inch of material to the chin around so it can sit properly without it flopping around. ย I recommend you guys check this mask out if you are interested and let me know how it goes!
