How to use:
1) Unfold completely and place the mask onto cleansed and toned skin.
2) Remove the mask after 15-20 minutes and lightly massage the remaining essence until completely absorbed.
3) Follow up with a moisturizer if desired.

Product packaging:
If you are getting a box, there are five inside.  You can also just test it out and get one single mask if you desire.  The packaging is translucent and you can see all the essence inside each package! There is actually so much essence, it is crazy.

Let’s test out the mask while I talk you through each detail.

Here is my bare face.  As you can see, there is a bit of redness around my cheeks and I have some irritation patches from the dry and harsh winters.  My skin at the moment is severely dry and no heavy moisturizers seem to help with the dryness.  So at the moment, I’m just trying to calm and soothe the skin to the best of my ability.

Texture/ Finish:
Taking out the mask, you can already see the texture of the essence is quite thick and jelly-like. 

The material of the sheet mask is made of plant-based cellulose fibers that feel just as soft as cotton.  It also seems to do a good job at holding onto the essence as well as staying on my face even when I am sitting upright.

Fit (sheet mask):
The fit of the mask is perfect with slits in all the right places.  The size of the eye hole being too small is sometimes is a problem for me with Japanese sheet masks, but Korean ones tend to not have that issue.  I’m really pleased there are nose slits already there too!

The amount of leftover essence is astonishing!  Look at that essence left behind.  I took all the leftover essence, added some on my sheet mask, and massaged it on the rest of my body and there was still so much left!

Axis-Y 61% mugwort green vital energy complex sheet mask gives me a good amount of hydration, calms down the redness in my cheeks, and just soothed my skin overall.  The mugwort and Centella combination truly did its job alongside the rest of the vegetable family haha.  For me and my dry skin though, I can’t rely just on this sheet mask for hydration.  It is a good starting point for my routine, but I have to layer it with more products afterward.

Fragrance?:
There was a light scent of mugwort and Centella but it wasn’t super strong.  Smell-o-scale: 5/10 in terms of how strong the scent is and it does fade after you have massaged it into your skin.

Pro:
-super cooling
-soothes irritation; perfect for summertime
-a natural cooling effect that lasts more than 20 minutes

Con:
-wish it was a bit more hydrating (but I have super dry skin)

Overall thoughts:
This is not a bad sheet mask and one I would actually go back and reuse!  The essence is super calming and soothing with a natural ability to retain its cooling nature even after 20 minutes of wear.  My face felt so cold to the touch!  Hydration-wise, it is relatively hydrating but with my dry skin, I have to layer and layer during the wintertime.  This would be perfect during the summertime since the essence isn’t heavy on the skin and offers such an amazingly soothing effect.  Overall I give this two thumbs up and would definitely repurchase!
