B.liv B seen I’m wrinkle eraser eye treatment Review

B.liv B seen I'm wrinkle eraser eye treatment reviewEye creams have been something I’ve been venturing out and testing out a lot of them at the moment.  Last year I tried about three to four eye creams but nothing has stuck out at the moment in terms of hydration.  Recently, I’ve noticed quite a few fine lines under my eyes but I’m not sure if it is from dehydration, getting old or I’m not using the right eye cream.  I got pretty excited being sent this eye cream from B.liv along with the other products from their line to test out and review for you guys.  If you haven’t checked out the other two reviews I have posted, you might want to check it out first (Drench me cleanser + Intro to brandDeep impact pore cleansing & massage emulsion). Let’s get started with the review, shall we? (゚⊿゚)

How to use:
Apply morning and/or evening by lightly massaging the eye contour.IMG_0827Product packaging:
I think the first thing that catches your eye is the packaging.  The box that it comes in is a lot more vibrant and flashy compared to the other boxes.

IMG_0831The container itself comes in a plastic sliver bottle with a cap shaped as an eyeball.  The cap reminds me of Halloween for some reason haha.  It’s a cute design!  Definitely EYE catching KEKE.  Get it? (*′☉.̫☉)

B.liv eye cream reviewThis also comes with a pump on top of the airtight container for minimal bacteria contamination.  Simple, straight forward design, practical, I like it.  The only con about this packaging is that I can’t see how much product I have inside.  I wish there was a little clear window on the side to indicate where I am at instead of having to pray there is some inside every time I use it.

Texture/ Finish:
Texture of this eye cream is a half and half of a gel and a balm.  It isn’t thin like a typical light weight gel that almost does nothing for my dry skin, but it isn’t as thick as a solid balm.  It is literally right in the middle and it absorbs into the skin within 1 minute, leaving my skin feeling protected and hydrated without any type of greasiness left on the skin.

IMG_0840pH level:
This eye cream has a pH level of 5, translating it to be neutral and a good fit to our skin.  Not to acidic, not too alkaline.

Lasting power:
For me, I usually just wash my face once and that is during the night time. I know, I know, I should really be washing twice.  I do technically clean twice, however in the morning time I like to do a lighter wash.  I don’t use cleanser in the morning and just use a bit of Bioderma Micellar water on a cotton pad and wipe my face and then reapply my moisturizer.  Sometimes I even skip the whole washing in the morning.  I live in a very chilly, low humidity area so I don’t sweat much. With that being said, I use this product once a day, right before I go to bed.  I don’t have problems with my eye feeling dry at all and it lasts until the following night when I do a through cleanse.

I do not believe this product is scented at all, which is one thing I can appreciate when companies don’t try and mask the product with 7 million perfumes.

Effects/ Results:
I’m not sure if I was the right candidate for this product or it doesn’t work.  I feel like this product definitely works in terms of hydration, but long term wrinkle improvement effects didn’t do much for my skin.  This cream didn’t irritate my skin so I give this a passing mark!

IMG_1062I usually like to use this much.  You can also use this on any other places where you think there are wrinkles, such as the laugh line which I do have!  Not severe but it is definitely there and shows if I don’t moisturize well.

IMG_1056After it has been massaged into the skin and absorbed.  No greasiness here! ( •́ .̫ •̀ )

IMG_1060I’m honestly not sure if the fine lines under my eyes at the moment are even wrinkles or just normal creases everyone has.  Let me know if they are wrinkles or just creases, because I really don’t know!  I’ve been trying to hydrate the eye area well but nothing is helping sadly.

-good texture; not too greasy nor is it too light
-absorbs into the skin easily

-slightly on pricy side
-didn’t help with my “wrinkles”

Most likely not.

Stars given out of 5:

Overall thoughts:
This eye cream is one of the better ones I have tried so far, with it’s unique texture that is surprisingly quite moisturizing and long lasting on my skin.  Unfortunately it’s wrinkle eraser function didn’t do much for my skin type, so I will be passing this onto my mom.  Hopefully it will work better for her mature skin type.  Overall this product is a good product but I’d have to give it a 3 star instead of 4 because it’s main function didn’t really do much for my skin sadly.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who can’t tell if my under-eye has wrinkles, or natural lines. This packaging is super funny though, it reminds me of Mike Wazowski from Monster’s Inc, LOL!

OMG if they did a collaboration with Monsters Inc, it would be perfect! Haha I’m still confused sadly. I wish someone could tell me if they are wrinkles or creases 🙁

It would totally be perfect, LOL! But did you end up repurchasing this? I saw this in your haul pic on IG…either that, or the one in the photo was actually this one? Just curious if you changed your mind about it, but this review is so recent!

No I didn’t repurchase. They actually sent me another version to try out. I’m actually working with them at the moment, hence the many many reviews you will see. So far, their brand is quite nice at a mid-ranged affordable price with very solid products all around.

My wife got me into skin care about a year ago cause my skin was starting to just look aged. Thank God she dd. I started using her products and I continue to use them. My favorite is definitely the Somaluxe Moisturizer because I use it in the eye area, and I can honestly say I’ve noticed a substantial improvement in firmness and texture and a reduction in fine lines and even in the deeper creases that extend from the nose to the corners of the mouth.

I’m glad to hear your wife was there to save the day :). Keep up with your skincare game and you can definitely loose a few years with just a good moisturizing and cleansing routine.
