Coringco Shabam Shabam eyeshadow bar palette review I Pressed glitter that is brighter then my future

Oh man, it feels like an eternity since I’ve reviewed makeup products.  I’m always on the hunt for some good matte eyeshadows and this one from Coringco looked quite promising.  Although the shades aren’t the most revolutionary, there was a good mix of matte versus shimmers and even a gorgeous glitter shade!  Let’s dip our paws into it and see if it is any good.

Packaging:
Packaging of this eyeshadow palette reminds me a lot of Chica y chico’s eyeshadow palettes.  I’m pretty sure it is just a generic one you can pick out when companies are manufacturing their products.  Nonetheless, the palette is very functional with its clear lid in the front.

In the back is a diagram of all the shade names, but none of it is in English unfortunately.

Color, pigmentation, texture:
This palette in 04 venice night has a mix of cool and warm tone shades.  There are two matte shades, two shimmery, one satin and one chunky glitter.  That is quite a nice mix of textures and can easily be an everyday staple for me.

01 moonlight night: Cool tone shimmery light coral champagne shade (shimmery)
02 your night: Neutral tone dusty peach shade (matte)
03 Rosemary: Warm tone blood orange coral shade with gold shimmers (shimmery)

All of these shades swatched very nicely with no skipping, or blending issues.  With just one swipe, the eyeshadows show true to color!  Keep in mind, I swatched these without a primer underneath and they are already so vibrant!  Surprisingly, the matte shade was actually very pigmented as well.  It did take a little more then one swipe to get it to this vibrant state, but if I were to blend it with a brush on my eye, it would show up just fine.

Look at that gorgeous shine!!  I haven’t even gotten to the chunky glittery shade either.

Now onto the main event!

04 colorful balm: Warm tone peach shade with chunky bronze, sliver and gold glitters (glittery)
05 Stained in balm: Warm tone dusty coral shade, similar to 02 your night but a bit darker with a golden sheen (satin)
06 Heart of the night: Warm tone brick red brown shade (matte)

This row swatches very nicely too.  The chunky glitter will fly around, so I suggest to use your fingers to dab it into your eyes instead of sweeping it with a brush.  Also, make sure to shield the rest of your face with either a tissue or apply extra setting powder to catch it.  05 stained in balm is too similar to 02 Your night and I find it no point to having it in the palette.  I would much rather have either another darker blending shade or something lighter like a light champagne shade.  I really love the matte shade in this row (06 Heart of the night) and can see myself using this shade in the future if I want a warm tone brown look.

Now let’s try it out!

I used pretty much every shade available in the palette to create this look.  Quite frankly, I don’t find this look to be revolutionary in any sense but it is a nice palette to have if I want a no brainer one to use for every day.  The two matte shades blended in very easily and the glitter shades luckily did not get into my eye LOL.  That would be a nightmare.

Pro:
-super pigmented
-easily blendable
-very portable
-a great mix of textures

Con:
-could use one more light shade

Repurchase?:
Maybe if they have other palettes that don’t’ have such similar shades.

Overall thoughts:
I’m actually very impressed with this palette from Coringco.  This is the first product I have tried from the brand and will definitely be checking out the rest of their line of makeup.  I like that they put into a lot of thought into what textures would be appropriate for a small palette like this.  Overall the pigmentation is fantastic and I would highly recommend you check out these palettes out!
