Cosrx has always been the brand I’d turn to when I’m unsure if what I want to use in my skincare routine.ย I’ve tried about 70% of their products and absolutely love them.ย Heck, I’ll even go on the record and say they can do no wrong!ย So when they came out with a cosmetic line as well, I was SHOOK.ย So shook I went to the moon and back.ย Of course I got to try their cushion, which I adored but unfortunately it was slightly too drying for my skin type. Shortly after that, they came out with two concealers to go along with the cushion.ย Boy oh boy, was I ecstatic.ย So let’s check out how the concealers compare and see if it is worth of you guys giving it a chance.ย Let’s go!

How to use:
Apply on concern areas and blend with either finger, brush or sponge.
Packaging:
For some reason, I thought these concealers would come in a bigger tube.ย These concealers come in a squeezable black tube with the product name in full black matte lettering.ย Its kind of hard to read, but I mean you can still see it.ย ย
In the back, there is the usual product information such as where the product is made, how to use and shade number.ย Unfortunately for us, it is all in Korean.ย
The lid is twistable and the product itself is dispensed by a fine tip.
Color/ Pigmentation:
These concealers unfortunately only comes in two shades, #21 (left side) which is a yellow undertone (almost neutral) light shade while #23 is a lot darker and is pretty much a neutral shade.ย The shade difference is quite drastic but shade #23 works with my NC25 skintone.ย I could use shade #21 for my under eyes, but the concealer is a bit too drying for my liking.
Texture/ Finish:
This concealer isn’t fully matte, but more of a satin finish.ย It easily blends into the skin but unfortunately for me and my pesky skin type, I can’t use too much of this concealer since it will start looking cakey and drying.ย I think those with normal, combo or oily skin type would really appreciate this concealer due to its very buildable high coverage.
Okay let’s try this concealer on!ย My skin is freaking out from the weather changing, so this is a great time to see if this concealer will hold up to its claim.
Before you go off on me for saying I got some nice irritations going on and then thinking “the hell girl.. you serious?”ย This is coming from a person that doesn’t really get pimples even around the period, bleeding time.ย I’ve noticed my skin really freaks out when the weather changes and my skin doesn’t know what to think.ย I actually have two zits building on my chin, some irritation bumps on my cheeks and a couple of bumps on my brow area.
I’m using shade #23 here.ย Simply dab on the product and blend away with either your fingers, brush or a sponge.ย In my case after I dabbed it on my face, I used the air puff from the cushions I was testing out after this.
Viola!ย Just like that, most of my redness is covered.ย Seriously, this stuff has amazing coverage.ย I’d really love to see them making a hydrating version, maybe even color correctors for the under eye.ย I’m still waiting for a honey propolis cushion Cosrx, I know you guys are seeing this.ย Don’t be a stranger!
Here is the before (right) and after (left side).ย I can’t use more then one layer because it gets really dry and cakey unfortunately but this concealer definitely is good stuff if I use it sparingly.
Coverage:
Like I’ve said at least four times now, this concealer is a buildable medium to high coverage and little goes a long long way.
Lasting power:
Since this has a drier formula, this concealer lasts a lot longer.ย I’d say the lasting power is an average of 8+ hours but for me and my dry skin, it does get kind of dry so I can’t wear it for long.ย It will cling onto the dry patches of your skin but it isn’t too bad.ย Some concealers when you put it over a blemish, it makes the blemish look like a volcano with the dry skin looking drier then it really is.ย This concealerย doesn’t do that which is a nice touch.
Fragrance?:
Like with all of Cosrx products, this concealer doesn’t have a scent.

Con:
-only two shades
-can be slightly drying for those with dry skin
Repurchase?:
No unless they come out with a hydrating version.

Overall thoughts:
I think this concealer is an amazing product and I’d definitelyย recommend it to everyone.ย Since I am dry skin, I am quite picky with formulas that are drier since I like a glowy look for more hydration.ย If you can get around the low hydration factor or you just prefer satin/matte finishes with high coverage, you guys would definitely LOVE this concealer.ย Little really goes a long way, but unfortunately,ย they only have two shades.ย I’d love to see them expand the line since they do have a big global customer base and it would only make sense.ย Overall, this concealer is definitely a good one and if the two shades work for you guys, definitely pick em up!
