Honey, I shrunk the kids!ย Oh my goodness, that movie is so old but did you hear?ย They’re maybe doing a reboot of the franchise!!ย Anyways, honey and propolis are the number one ingredient to use for my dry skin and Cosrx’s holy grail ampoule has always been my go-to for a while now.ย Earlier this year, they released a whole revamped version of the ampoule along with a toner and moisturizer for the new propolis line.ย The little old me excited for propolis is nothing new, but I have tried a few meh propolis products.ย I’m here today to spill the beans on their propolis toner, so let’s get into it already!

How to use:
After cleansing your skin, apply toner on a cotton pad and gently wipe your face.ย You can also just apply it directly to your skin if you prefer to save a cotton pad.
Product packaging:
Cosrx Propolis synergy toner comes in a generous size of 280 mL, housed in a hard plastic bottle which is super easy to recycle (thank goodness!).ย They also have two other toners now which I need to get my hands on!!
To open the toner, you simply pop up the lid and viola. Really nothing to it :P.
Texture/ Finish + effects/ results:
The texture is liquidity but viscous with a hint of the same texture as the ampoule, just not as thick.ย It takes a little longer to absorb into the skin but you instantly see this gorgeous glow to the skin and I definitely feel like my skin gets more hydrated and plumped up the next day.ย The first two ingredients on the list are Propolis extract and Honey extract along with Glycerin, all known to be very hydrating for the skin.ย There is Cassia Obtusifolia Seed Extract for anti-inflammation, Panthenol (aka. pro-vitamin B5) a humectant which means it has the ability to attract and hold moisture as well as.ย Sodium Hyaluronate is also on the list, a water-soluble salt derived from hyaluronic acid which can bind up to 1,000 times its own water weight, all of which can help combat skin dryness, repair comprised moisture barrier, plump and improve acne-prone skin.
Using this toner gives me that glow which the ampoule gives me but this is like a watered-down version to prep my skin for the next step.ย This is definitely a staple for the wintertime for my sad dry skin which is freaking the hell out, which is now….

Overall thoughts:
This toner easily wings a stamp of approval/ holy grail status.ย The ingredients compared to the ampoule is very similar but the toner has a couple of other ingredients added to it.ย If you have tried the ampoule, you’ll love this toner as it is a watered-down version of it, and both pair nicely together.ย The ingredients list is relatively simple with amazing ingredients in it and for $22 bucks, you really cannot go wrong!ย Those who are looking for something super hydrating with a glowy and dewy look to your skin, LOOK NO FURTHER!
