A while ago, I picked up a couple products from Delight 18 since there was a 18,000 won sale which you can get three things with that price. ย Unfortunately, there was a catch to the deal and you had to buy a fourth product for 50% off. ย Nonetheless I still went with the deal and bought my goodies with Boyah. ย I ended up with the I.U whitening cream, smallest (-) cream (cream contour), I.U white pang Cellapy sun cushion and their lip balm in milk all for around 32,000 won which is still not a bad deal. ย I’ve been trying this salmon spot product for a couple weeks and thought I’d finally tell you guys, I think I found the it product for the quick fix for my dark circles!! ย There aren’t many, actually close to no reviews on this brand so I thought I’d contribute hehe. ย So let’s get started! ย I’m excited for this one.ย (โ๊ดโ)

How to use:
They say you can use it anywhere where it is dry, dark or anywhere with uneven skin tone. Since this is a brightening product, I’d honestly would recommend you use this under the eyes or anywhere you want to brighten. ย Other then that, I would not recommend this as a face concealer since it is so brightening.
Product packaging:
On the website, I was expecting this product to be a medium sized bottle. ย To my surprise when I got it in the mail, this thing is tinier then I imaged it to be.
To give you a life-sized scale, here it is next to my iPhone 6s. ย Measurement wise, this bottle is 10 cm in height and 1.5 cm in width. Passed my disappointment, this is the typical bottle size of any concealers. ย It is very similar to Clio’s kill cover concealer.
Theย packaging itself is very simple, with the cute logo and design on the front and Hangul in the back with the usual information. ย Once you pop open the lid, inside it reveals a pump. ย The pump itself is very easy to use and you can control it very easily. ย I do find that one full pump goes a long long way so I usually try to only use half a pump which is more than enough for both of my undereye circles.
Color/ Pigmentation:
Since I had no reviews to base this product on, I didn’t really have anything I could base the colour with and back then, I didn’t think to copy and paste the Korean name to blog naver. ย I was thinking since the name was “salmon spot”, I was expecting the colour to be super salmon beige like the usual shades you’d find which is specifically targeted to cancel out blue/ purple tones under the eyes. ย To my surprise, when you first swatch this product, it looks just like a usual #13 shade in BB cushions. ย Super light flesh shade, very brightening but not super pink or salmon like at all. ย I thought, “psh, this product ain’t gonna work with my purple undereye circles, it isn’t potent enough.” ย Boy oh boy was I wrong.
Even though the colour isn’t super pink, it somehow is able to cancel out the blue/purple undertones under my eyes very well and also brighten it up. ย The only other product I can think of that worked with my panda circles was the Bobbi brown serum concealer correctorย (oh my goodness, please excuse the photo quality. ย I was still experimenting with my camera. ย I’m kind of embarrassed to have to link it LOL but please bear with me. ย I’m still a work in progress.) ย That concealer however is super pink and I still need to used a flesh tone over top to make it look natural. ย This one from Delight 18 not only covers the darkness under my eyes, it also looks super natural and I don’t have to go over top it with any other flesh toned concealer to correct the colouring. ย Perfect…. just PERFECT!ย (ยด,,โขฯโข,,)โก
Not sure if you guys can see the blended out side well, but if you look closely, it is definitely a lot brighter then the rest of my hand.
Texture/ Finish:
I’m always scared of using anything under my eyes since I really don’t like anything that is thick or would bunch up in fine lines. ย This cream has the absolute perfect texture, it’s actually kind of like an oxymoron. It is lightweight when blended out into the skin, but it isn’t watery and has a slight thickness to it. ย I actually wouldn’t say it is “thick” per se but it’s formula has a great adherence to the skin. ย Usually liquid concealers are slightly more moist while this one has a satin finish to it. ย Once it is blended into the skin, it doesn’t seem to budge on into my fine lines. ย Do keep in mind, I have dry skin so that could be a factor. ย I also have tried this by setting it with some loose powder and it also worked great and lasted all day.
Coverage:
The degree to my dark circles, although it doesn’t look as bad in photo since the bright lights are blasting at my face, I’d give it a 7/10 in terms of how dark it is. ย I stay up late at night to work on the blog and just a night owl in general, so I don’t have the best sleep. ย My undereye circles do get better when I get good rest but that is rare. ย You’ll see how purple/blue it is down below but if you have medium dark circles, this product does the trick. ย Any high, you can use this product but I’d also suggest to use a little bit extra something something on top to give you that full coverage you’d want.
Lasting power:
I’ve worn this all day, even at work in a hot kitchen. ย In chilly days with this product under my eye and wasn’t set with any powder, it seemed to have stayed on my dry skin for 8+ hours no problem. ย Set with a little bit of powder, it lasted 10+ hours and didn’t dry my undereye circles in any way. ย Another time I tried this product before I went to work and that was a 14 hour day (8 hours at work and the rest at home) and it still stayed fine. ย It did fade a bit around the 9 hour mark but honestly, that is good enough for me.
Fragrance?:
There is a very faint soapy floral scent to it but nothing major and nothing that would give me a headache. ย Smell-o-scale: 4/10 and the fragrance does faint away after application.
Okay, time to test this baby out!
Here are my dark circles. ย Yes yes, I know. ย It may not look that bad to you, but it looks bad to me okay! It’s just another excuse for my mother to nag at me and say I don’t sleep early enough. ย Like women, I work until 11 pm… how does one sleep earlier when I’m STILL AT WORK. ย SHESH.
Side view of my under eye circles. ย It is more of a reddish purple colour. ย There are blue veins going through it but you can’t really pick it up on camera.
I learned the trick not to place the concealer all the way to the edge of your under eyes. ย To make it more natural, place it right below the bag and gently blend it upwards to get the most natural effect. ย For this concealer, I actually like to just use my finger, dab it onto my eyes and gently pat it in. ย It works great! ย One less brush to wash.

Here is after with both eyes done. ย You can see the reddish purple is definitely brightened up and concealed. I am loving it!
My full face of make up done. I didn’t touch the under eye circles nor did I apply anything on top. ย It looks pretty good I must say. ย For a one stop shop product, this thing might be the best “concealer” I have tried to date.

Overall thoughts:
This always happens to me. ย Whenever I find one holy grail product, another one follows. ย I’m definitely not complaining but I hope you guys don’t think I’m pulling your leg. ย This stuff seriously is like magic in a tube. Itย conceal, brighten, long lasting and doesn’t settle into fine lines, seriously what more can you as for. ย For 11,800 won, even though the bottle is a little small, a little does go a long way. ย The only con is that it only cones in one shade and those of you who are Mac NC25, NC30 is pushing it to the limit, this product would work flawlessly for you guys. Not too sure if it may work for those with Mac NW skintones but you could try. ย Overall I highly recommend this product if you’ve been on the quest to find a one stop shop product that does it all for your under eye circles or even just need a product to brighten areas up on your face, Delight 18 definitely got you covered.
