FOREO Black Friday sale I Device breakdown + my recommendations

Black Friday is just around the corner but there are a lot of companies already releasing their Black Friday sale and Foreo is one of them!!  The sale just started and there is up to 30% on their select devices.  I’ve been privileged enough to try a lot of their devices and have fallen in love with all of them.  I know there is a lot of confusion between all the models and which one is the best pick.  So I’ll do a rundown for all of the models and which device to choose to suit your needs.

Foreo’s Luna cleansing devices is one of the most revolutionary cleaning brushes which does not require you to change brush heads unlike Clarisonic (which the brand is non-existent now).  I recently got the chance to try it out for myself and fell in love.  The medical-grade silicone bristles are 30% longer than its older predecessor and I feel like it is a bit more effective.  The T-sonic pulsation helps give you a deeper cleanse and because the bristles are so soft, you can easily use this device every single day.  You can use Luna 3 with or without the app, but the app allows you to change the pulsation levels from 1-10 and there’s also a preset routine and massaging routines built-in if you feel like following a set routine.

This is the latest model and the Luna 3 is different from the mini because one side is for cleansing, while the back has a grooved side to massage your face and body.  If you need a full review of the Luna 3 and the Luna mini 3, click here for my full-length review.

There are 3 versions for you to choose from depending on what type of skin you have.  The pink is for normal skin, blue is combination skin and purple is for sensitive skin.  The difference between all of them is the thickness of the bristles with combination skin (blue) having a bit more course of bristles while sensitive skin (purple) having the finest bristles compared to the normal (pink).

Foreo Luna Mini 2 is the second generation of the Mini range.  It is smaller than the Luna 3, has T-sonic power, 8 intensity settings with both sides of the device having bristles.  If you don’t need the massaging function of the Luna 3 and also can’t pick between the three versions, the Luna Mini 2 might be for you since it takes the guessing game out for you.  I personally have the mini 3 and love it as well for if I want to bring my cleansing device but don’t want the big Luna 3 to travel with.

Foreo Luna Fofo is somewhat similar to the mini but there is a smart reader which you use to analyze your skin condition and it will create a routine for you for that specific day (customized intensity, duration).  The device also tracks your hydration levels with its 24K gold plated skin sensors.  This device uses 2 x AAA batteries and can be used 400 times.

I’m currently testing out the Foreo UFO 2 and I can easily tell you I love this little device.  It does so much for the price, it is almost like highway robbery.  It has thermo-therapy, cryotherapy which is so nice when I’m feeling swollen or too hot, LED light therapy, and T-sonic pulsation with their 60-second sheet mask treatments.  With other devices I have tried, they’ve only had one function like a LED mask just for light therapy and that already runs $200+.  This tiny device does so much, no wonder it is called UFO because it is out of this frinkin’ world!!

I was a bit confused with the four models that were on sale since I’ve only tried the latest Foreo UFO 2, so here’s a nice compiled chart to see which device will suit you best.

Honestly, I never thought Foreo would come out with a silicone toothbrush but here we are.  I also have their Issa 2 and frinkin love it!!  I’ve watched and read some other people’s reviews on the Issa toothbrush and they’ve said that their teeth don’t feel as clean compared to a traditional toothbrush.  I can’t disagree more.  I’ve tried regular toothbrushes, electric toothbrushes which are way too harsh and make my gums bleed a lot of times and the Foreo Issa 2 is almost god sent.

I have the hybrid brush head which has a mix of their full silicone bristles along with regular nylon bristles in the center and it works just like regular toothbrushes, but the silicone bristles give my gums a nice massage.  I haven’t moved into the full silicone brush head just yet but my boyfriend has tried it and he says it isn’t shabby either, but still prefers the hybrid.

Why a full silicone toothbrush?  Silicone is much more hygienic since it does not harbor bacteria like nylon toothbrushes.  You also don’t have to change it every month since the recommended time to have to change your brush head is 6 months.  The charge also lasts forever!!  You only have to realistically charge it twice a year since one charge offers you 365 uses.

For all the models on sale, I personally recommend Issa 2 since it is rechargeable and gives you the option to change the brush heads to either their hybrid, sensitive (fully silicone), or even their tongue brush.

Lastly, the two very interesting devices.  The iris concept was creating a device to tap in your eye cream under your eyes in the most gentle way possible.  The gentle T-sonic technology is also supposed to reduce visible signs of crow’s feet, dark circles, and bags under your eyes since it promotes blood circulation. It is rechargeable and one charge lasts up to 7 months of use!

Another very interesting device.  The Foreo Espada uses a laser-precision blue light and T-sonic pulsation to blast away your blemishes and help acne-prone skin to heal faster.  It is 100% waterproof, offers 100 uses from a single charge.
