I was also a bit hesitant to recommend their website because it is so hard to navigate and their official Instagram page was kind of a mess.ย Their other Instagram pages for Taiwan and Japan make more sense from a brand perspective.ย Also, packaging for color contacts usually have a diagram of the contacts themselves or even have a corresponding color theme on the box to represent what color is inside.ย With each lien of colors having a unique name, I always have to refer back to the website to tell what color I got, which is honestly a pain.
From what they said, their packaging is a mixture of pharmaceutical design along with their cute and fun illustrations.ย It really does have that pharmaceutical feel to it, which kind of makes me think these are birth control boxes or those stomach flu pills.ย All of their color contacts are made with either hydrogel or PC+ Silicone (Rock ‘n Roll Kristin”.

I’m going to have to give them credits for making their packaging super cute.ย Still, I need to see what color I have inside man!!ย Also what the style is.ย This is making my life so difficult UGH.
Inside the box, you will find a manual on how to wear color contacts properly.ย PLEASE wash your hand before putting them on as well as cleaning them after every use.ย EVERY, SINGLE, DAY, you have to clean them every time you wear them.ย Whether it is putting it in those contact cages that will bubble up and clean it for you overnight or using the old school solutions to clean them manually, CLEAN THEM.ย Just because they are monthly, DOES NOT MEAN YOU DON’T CLEAN IT FOR A MONTH.ย Don’t give me a heart attack, please.ย ย

Does it shift around when I blink my eyes or move them?ย No they don’t and the diameter works just fine with my eyes.ย All three the shades that I have are different diameter but they all look relatively natural on my eyes.ย If they are shifting or popping off when you blink, then you most likely put them in the wrong way.ย I do also have to note that the thickness of HapaKristin is relatively thicker then the Olens color contacts I’m used to, however they are still comfortable and didn’t dry my eyes out when I wear them.

The first shade we have here is Peaceful Kristin, which is a relatively natural color contact with four shade to choose from (green, hazel, brown, blue).ย The diffused darker ring on the outside and a lighter color iris really reminded me of Olens Vivi line but this one is a bit more dramatic and feline-esque.
I wasn’t too sure about the circle lens ring look at first but on my eyes, it actually looks somewhat natural and blends into my dark brown eyes very well.ย There isn’t a huge enlarging effect but more of a defining look.ย I’m now definitely interested to see how the other 3 shades would look.ย I tried to save the tiny icon that they have on the website but it really isn’t letting me.ย Such a pain…
Color-wise, there really is only about 2 main colors, the dark brown (almost black) dotted ring around the edges and the light warm tone hazel brown interior which the graphics diffuse out for a more natural look.ย I think this color would also look really pretty on lighter colored eyes as well.

Shocked Kristin in Grey is definitely one of my new favorites.ย Although this is a gray, it looks more like a dark misty blue on my eyes.ย From the diagram, it looked like there were specks of purple but I don’t see that in real life.ย Again, this one has a dark ring around the outside for a subtle enlarging effect but it doesn’t look too natural in real life.
This color would pair really nicely with darker, more dramatic eye look but it also looks good every day with minimal makeup as well.
Rock’n Roll Kristin contains 48% water (meaning the contact is made up of that percentage) and uses PC+ Silicon Hydrogel.

The diagram for this shade is quite misleading.ย Just looking at the close-up graphics, it seems like it would be more of a full-coverage color contact, but in real life, the center is quite bare compared to the first two I tried.ย Far away, it doesn’t look that obvious, however, close up makes it look unnatural to have such a big hole.ย If they diffused it a little bit more, it would have been better.ย I’m just having creative differences.
Color-wise, the Rock’n roll Kristin in blue contains three colors, dark blue-ish grey ring, light silver specks and silvery golden yellow lines going throughout the iris.
Out of the three, this one is definitely my least favorite.ย There are still other lines I’d like to try from the brand like wannabe green, ahhh! Kristin and the rest of the Peaceful Kristin shades.
Overall I do like some of the colors and styles they offer.ย They seem to have more of a dolly, more dramatic style to them but there are some gems like the Peaceful Kristin and Shocked Kristin.ย I didn’t have an issue with these drying out my eyes throughout the day and they were relatively comfortable with 4-6 hours of wear depending on what style you have.ย For something with a denser graphic like Shocked Kristin and Peaceful Kristin, I would recommend not wearing them for more than 8 hours if possible while Rock’N roll you can wear them for a little bit longer since there are fewer graphics.
