Heimish has been a brand I’ve been indulging lately.ย I already have reviewed their BB cushion, eyeshadow palettes, and have also tried their cleansing balm but kind of meh about that one.ย I wanted to try more from the brand since my feelings were quite neutral with the cushion but positive with the eyeshadow palettes, I wanted to know if I like the rest of their products so I picked up their artless glow base from Jolse. Since primers are a simple thing to review, let’s just jump right into it shall we?ย Lets go go! (/^โฝ^)/

How to use:
Using clean fingers, apply a small amount of product all over the face.ย Use alone for a healthy glow.
Packaging:
Packaging for Heimish products are always sleek, sophisticated and modern.ย This glow base is no exception and has the same design as the BB cushion with the rose gold touch and the modern graphics.ย The base comes in a squeeze bottle with a screw on cap.ย Nothing much to the packaging.
Texture/ Finish:
The primer is very light weight and absorbs into the skin almost instantly.ย It leaves my skin slightly moisturized, leaves a slight pearlescent glow but there are bigger gold and sliver shimmers that show up on the skin.ย Sorry the swatch picture doesn’t really capture the slight glow. Geez camera, sometimes… just sometimes…
Lasting power:
I don’t really have a problem with lasting power since my skin is so dry, that it just sucks everything it can up.ย I don’t have a problem with the baseย interfering with my primer which is a good sign.ย Sometimes if you use too thick of a primer or moisturizer, your foundation will ball up.ย But no problems here :D.
Fragrance?:
There is quite a strong floral fragrance to this and it does linger even after application.ย I’m not too sure that I like that.ย I mean the primer has been on my skin for more then 10 minutes and I can still smell it on the back of my hand.ย Smell-o-scale: 8/10 and those that are sensitive to fragrance, I’d suggest you to avoid this product.
Okay let’s try this product out!
Simply take some of the primer and massage it into your skin.
Glow off…
Glow on! Slight glow but honestly, I don’t think it is significant enough to say it truly gives a glow to the skin since it is the first product you put on and not the last like a highlighter.ย
Don’t be fooled, the glow in this picture is from a cream highlighter.

-hydrating enough as a make up base
-gives the skin a slight glow

Overall thoughts:
I think this product is quite average.ย I mean it does the job but it isn’t anything spectacular.ย I don’t have much to say other then it is a nice base if you are looking for a lightweight primer with a slight glow built into it.ย But the fragrance is so strong that I can’t really recommend it.ย Even for me who isn’t sensitive to fragrance can’t stand the fact that I can still smell the fragrance on my skin.ย Overall it is a decent product but meh.
