I’m from rice serum review I Just the right amount of rice

Rice has always been one of my favorite ingredients when it comes to skincare.  Rice extra is always nourishing, softening, and has brightening properties.  So when one of my favorite brands expand their rice line, of course, it is something I had to try out.  From their famous rice toner to their rice mask, will their rice serum be just as good as the rest of the line?  Let’s talk about it.

Product packaging:
I have to admit, when I got the product out of the box, it was kind of smaller than I expected.  Maybe it is just perspective since many other serums I’ve tried in the past have been 30 mL, but this just seems extra small to me.  Nonetheless, this rice serum is housed in a glass bottle and a plastic pump.  If you do want to reuse the bottle, the sticker isn’t too hard to rip off.  It is a little hard to wash the inside, so I hope you have one of those straw brush cleaners to do the trick.

The pump is pretty standard and works just fine.  It isn’t too strong or too weak and dispenses just the right amount.  I usually use two to three pumps for my whole face.

Texture/ Finish:
To my surprise, this is a very lightweight, almost gel-like texture.  I was really hoping for the serum to be on the thicker and nourishing side, however, that isn’t the case.  I think I’ve come to my sense and have admitted the rice line isn’t made for those with dry skin, other than their rice mask.  Hydration-wise, it gave it a decent amount but it really isn’t anything to write home about.  Overall, it is meh for me.  I did pass this down to my mom and she seemed to like it.  She has normal to somewhat dry skin but she ended up finishing it.

Overall thoughts:
Sadly, I wasn’t really impressed by this I’m from rice serum.  There was nothing spectacular to write home about and it just didn’t do much for my skin type.  I’m really sad that I’m from’s rice line isn’t what I imagined it to be.  The best rice product I’ve tried is Cosrx’s overnight rice mask and at some point in my life, I used up 3-4 bottles in the span of three years.  If you want to try more hydrating products from I’m from, I’d suggest you check out their I’m from fig essence, I’m from honey mask, or even their I’m from rice mask.  Overall this was a bust for me and I’d only recommend you check it out if you have normal to maybe oily skin type.
