I’m unny melting blush swatch review

I'm unny melting blush swatch reviewWow, it has been a while since I’ve tried any makeup products.ย  I blame covid for killing the fun for all of us.ย  Sometimes I want to look cute and put on makeup, but I forget I need to wear a mask, and then it gets rubbed off onto the mask.ย  Cream and liquid products have been my go-to ever since I found it was best not to use powder products on my dry skin.ย  Cream blushes not only give me a dewy look, but also offer hydration and look much more natural.ย  Selection honestly has been pretty slim, but I’m Unny, a brand I’ve never heard of, can now be found on Jolse!ย  The shade range is much more interesting compared to the usual boring K-beauty shades, so I was definitely tempted to test it out.ย  Let’s get into the swatch party!

All these come in a slim compact with a full-size mirror on the inside.ย  The cream blush is a decent size, weighing 3.5g per shade.ย  To open the compact, simply just pop off the clasp and you got it open!

Blush for dry skin I'm unny melting blush reviewColor/ Pigmentation + Texture/ Finish:
With a lot of K-beauty blushes in the past, they have been very hit or miss and lackluster in the pigmentation department.ย  These I’m unny melting blush shades are actually pretty decent in terms of pigmentation and definitely show on my cheeks.ย  Some might still say they aren’t pigmented enough, however, I find these to just be enough where it shows some color on your cheeks while still looking natural and watercolor-esque.

I'm unny melting blush reviewI’m also very impressed there aren’t any shades that are repeating from the line.ย  All of the shades have a very distinctive mood/ feel it gives off.ย  To the touch, it is creamy but not buttery and it melts into the skin with a velvety finish.ย  All of these shades do not have any shimmers or glitters in them.ย  The pigmentation is capped at a certain point and isn’t the most buildable either.ย  I personally didn’t find it to drag my base makeup in any way, but just tap the blush on instead of buffing it on for better results.

Korean cream blusher reviewI find it is best to apply this cream blush with my fingers.ย  It is quite easy to blend, but I sometimes use my air puff as well from my BB cushion.

I'm unny cream blusher 01 pale pink reviewBefore (right side), after (left side)

Even though it isn’t showing up that great on camera, 01 pale pink is the perfect no-brainer shade you can use every day.ย  I’m normally not a big fan of pink, but I think the warmth of this pink works with my yellow undertone.ย  This shade gives you that innocent, effortless look that would work with any makeup look as well.

I'm unny melting blush 02 coralline reviewI’m Unny melting blush 02 coralline:ย Warm tone beige orange shade

I'm unny cream blusher 02 coralline reviewThis one in the pan looks like a rusted orange shade with a beige undertone.ย  On the cheeks though, it is a subtle, chic girl vibe.ย  This is yet another no brainer shade that would work with most makeup looks as well and would be a perfect fall shade.

I'm unny melting blush 03 orange reviewI’m Unny melting blush 03 orange: Neutral tone bright coral orange shade

I'm unny cream blusher 03 orange reviewNow this shade is fun and bright!ย  This is a bright coral shade that definitely brightens up the whole complexion and would be the perfect summer shade.ย  03 orange is bright enough to show up on light to medium skin tones but might not be pigmented enough for very dark skin tones, unfortunately.

I'm unny melting blush 04 nude reviewI’m Unny melting blush 04 nude: Cool tone light milk chocolate brown shade

I'm unny cream blusher 04 nude reviewThis was a shade I was hoping to have the most use out of.ย  It is very subtle on the cheeks and even though it doesn’t look like much, this shade would be perfect for very strong eye or lip looks.ย  If you compare the right (before) and left (after), there is a very subtle difference and also makes my cheekbones pop out a bit.ย  I wouldn’t recommend this shade to anyone with medium skin tones though as it barely shows up on my skin.

I'm unny melting blush 05 plum reviewI’m Unny melting blush 05 plum: Warm tone berry plum shade

I'm unny cream blusher 05 plum reviewOut of the five, 05 plum is the most pigmented.ย  I have to make sure I use a light hand since this is so pigmented.ย  It is a gorgeous fall shade that gives me a juicy plum cheek look and would even be a pretty lip color too!ย  This shade would also look amazing on medium skin tones and could possibly work on darker skin tones as well.

Lasting power:
Mid-day, I do find the color to fade a little bit, depending on which shade I am wearing.ย  If I’m wearing the stronger and brighter shades like 05 plum or 03 orange, then I don’t have to reapply.ย  But if I’m wearing shades like 01 pale pink, 02 coralline, and 04 nude, be sure to pack it with you for a quick reapplication.

Overall thoughts:
Overall, I’m quite pleased with these cream blushes, especially at the price point of 6,900 won ($6.90 usd).ย  All of them have workable pigmentation and all of the shades are completely different from each other.ย  The finish didn’t dry my skin out and it gave my skin that watercolor effect that I love.ย  I highly recommend you guys check these out and maybe even get them when Jolse has their brand sale!ย  Two thumbs up and I give you the green light to get a couple if you’ve been eyeing it yourself.
