I am still on the hunt to find a moisturizing foundation with a gorgeous dewy finish and got sucked into getting the latest one from Missha.ย I’m not too sure if this is just a repackaged foundation or a brand new foundation since there is one with the same name from the brand.ย Nonetheless, I cheaper out and got the bottle foundation version instead of the BB cushion one because I’m Asian and I liked that it had more in quantity LOL.ย Some of you guys did tell me the cushion version is more hydrating, but its too late for that now!ย I got two of them to review for you guys, so let’s get into it!

I’m actually surprised this foundation came in a glass bottle.ย The gorgeous bright red color choice makes the foundation look very luxurious, and it kind of reminds me of Shiseido.ย Popping off the lid will reveal a pump (thank god!).
The pump is relatively easy to control and I use about 2-3 pumps for my entire face.ย Although the bottle is glass, it isn’t actually that heavy and I’d be comfortable to carry it around for travel.
Colour/ pigmentation:
I’m surprised this foundation line has 6 shades which isn’t a bad start, at least compared to the past when 2-3 shades were all you got.ย I was really confused about which shade would work for me, so I ended up getting two shades.
No. 21N vanilla is a true #21 shade you would get with any cushions with the same shade number.ย It is a cool tone, a very light shade that would make me look ghostly if I were to use it all over my face.ย If I wanted to highlight and use it strategically, that could work or it would be a good mixing shade if I needed any base products a little bit lighter.
No. 22N Beige is the shade that works better for me and blends into my Mac NC25 yellow undertones skin much better and doesn’t have that “brightening” (aka. Casper deceased look) effect.
Both shades have a strong yellow undertone, so if you are looking for something with a bit more pink tone in it, you might have to check out the other 4 shades they offer.

Oh my, quarantine is making me look rough around the edges.ย Late sleeping hours, late waking up, and definitely not as much sunlight absorption got me looking like an Otaku.ย Then again, that’s not much different from my usual routine.

Here is one layer of No 22N beige on the right side of my face.ย It definitely evened out the redness around my face, but it doesn’t have that “radiance” effect I was hoping for.ย That use of works got me sucked in.ย Curse that marketing!!!
Texture/ Finish:
I was expecting to get a slightly dewy finish but this foundation is more of a semi-matte, satin finish which my dry skin isn’t happy about.ย The first 3 hours, my skin looks fine but then it just gets drier and sadder as the day goes by.ย If my skin has any flaky dead skin, its game over.ย This foundation is definitely better for those who have normal to oily skin.
This might not look that bad to some people, but one of my pet peeves is seeing all the texture on my skin.ย I’m trying to achieve that glass skin, super healthy and moisturized look but instead, I get dried fish that’s been sitting in the sun for too long.ย ย
Layering cream blush, bronzer, and highlighter also isn’t too bad and it did start to look more decent.ย From afar, my foundation did look flawless but my skin wasn’t feeling so happy.ย Just sad and dry after a couple of hours.
Lasting power:
This foundation lasted 6 hours before fading around the nose and cheeks a little bit but I personally didn’t have too much of a problem with the lasting power with my dry skin.
Fragrance?:
This foundation has the classic soapy floral scent but it isn’t too strong.ย Smell-o-scale: 6/10 in terms of how strong the scent is and it does fade after application.
Pro:
-good light to medium coverage
-decent shade range

-a bit too drying for my skin
-clings onto dry patches around my nose

Overall thoughts:
I don’t think this is a horrible foundation, but it just didn’t work with my dry skin.ย Those with normal to combo and even oily skin might like this.ย The adherence is decent and does give you a flawless finish but it isn’t as good as Moonshot micro correct fit foundation.ย I personally don’t think this is a stellar foundation and is a pass in my book.
