Eyeliners have been a a department that K-beauty kills in with flying colours, so I have no doubt that these liners from Pony effect would not be another to add to the list.  Honestly at this point, Pony can come out with “special” cotton pads and I wouldn’t be surprised.  Heck, she can come out with toilet paper and I’d still be interested to try it LOL. This time around, she came out with twist up pencil eyeliners that comes in not only the neutral shades you’d find but also very unique shades such as mint and light pink. How to use:
Twist up a lil – the lead is so slim you don’t want to twist it up too far. Line the waterline and lashline.

Product packaging:
These eyeliners come in a twist up packaging which is the ideal style for eyeliners since you don’t waste product from sharpening.  On the bottom of each of these liners, there is a coloured band to indicate which shade is which.

The lid shuts nice and tight so you don’t have to worry about it popping off in your travel bag.

The liner itself is super duper skinny, measured at 2 mm.  You can easily line with precision but one thing I do have to note, when I first got my liners, 4 out of 9 liners I had snapped off of the bottom where it pushes the product out.

Colour/ pigmentation:
For a second, I was wondering why this collection of liners didn’t have a black but I think they just forgot to include it in my package.  That’s fine since I have the other 9 shades and can give you a solid opinion on them.  On the Korean site, the names are how I labeled them but on the US site, the names are more simplified.  Pigmentation wise, these have no problem at all.  With just one swipe, these liners are very true to colour. 

Mystique navy/ Navy: Cool tone dark navy shade with fine blue shimmers shade
Dutch coffee/ coffee: Cool tone dark chocolate brown shade
Brown sugar/ brown: Warm tone espresso brown shade
Narcotic Khaki/ Khaki: Cool tone khaki green shade with a golden sheen finish
Marsala velvet/ Marsala: Cool tone dark burgundy wine shade
Green addiction/ green: Cool tone jade green shade
Secret mint/ mint: Cool tone pastel mint shade
Pink shot/ pink: Warm tone light strawberry shade
Majestic purple/ purple: Warm toned fuchsia orchid shade

The shades I’d use the most would definitely be the neutral shades such as dutch coffee, brown sugar, narcotic khaki and mystique navy (only on the lids because I don’t want the glitter to cut my eyeball!).  Greed addiction I would use as an accent colour or many in the bottom lashes during the summer time.  The other three shades, secret mint, pink shot and majestic purple, I most likely won’t use on the eyes since they aren’t very flattering to use for everyday use.

Texture/ Finish:
 The only shade I had a little bit of problem was secret mint which looked a little pastey when used on the skin for some reason.  I had to swipe it around three times to get a true representation of what the colour should look like.  Overall these liners are all very pigmented, super creamy.  On the lid, these work like a dream but it doesn’t seem to work the same on the waterline.  I’ve even tried wiping the excess moisture out of my waterline but it still didn’t seem to adhere to the skin.  After these have completely dried, they don’t seem to smudge or budge at all unless you get into contact with some type of oil so I suggest you guys use this over an eyeshadow base and set your lids with some powder, whether or not it is eyeshadow or just some loose powder.

Lasting power:
On the lid, without powder to set the liner, it seems to stay for at least around 6 hours.  The part that went away the fastest was the little flick at the end but that is to be expected unless I use liquid liner.  On the waterline, it doesn’t stay at all.  In the picture underneath, the liner was just applied 5 minutes before I took the picture but it is already almost gone.

Fragrance?:
No scent detected.

LOL majestic purple I swear didn’t look so red in person but it looks like I have an eye infection XD.

Overall thoughts:
I absolutely love how thin these liners are which gives the user the control, whether you want it thick or thin.  One thing I’m concerned about is because it is so thin, these are prone to snapping off way too easy.  I mean yes, I can just heat it up and stick it back onto the base but that is a pain and you risk dropping it on the ground and maybe even stepping on it and making a mess.  I do wish to see them somehow fix that somehow.  Other then that, the pigmentation is great, texture is creamy, smudge and budge proof after it has set, what more can you ask for honestly.  Overall these are yet another good eyeliner to add to the K-beauty killer liner list and I’d recommend you guys try these out if you are in the market for some good liners.
