Make up removers are something everyone needs. ย But when I ran out of the one I was using, I went to my local drugstore to pick one up but none of them suited my fancy. ย They were so boring looking and the price was at least $12. Ridiculous… I got way too used to K-beauty prices so I thought I’d just turn to the East and see what they have. ย I’ve heard many great things with Skinfood’s make up remover so I thought I’d give it a try. ย So let’s get into the review and see if this product lives up to it’s hype!ย ๏ผเนโงโโงเน๏ผ

How to use:
Shake the bottle for the product to emulsify and then squirt some onto cotton pad and wipe away!
Product packaging:
Packaging from Skinfood is always super cute and eye appealing. ย This make up remover comes in a simple, ketchup looking bottle with the product spilt in the middle like a lot of oil based removers.
The bottle is sealed with this cap which has a tiny hole for the product to be squirted out.
When you don’t use it and let the bottle sit normally, it would be spilt like this. ย Shake it and you get…
This :D. ย A milkshake! ย Just like the name.
Texture/ Finish:
Sometimes oil-based make up remover leaves a very oily residue which I know some of you guys would be bothered by. ย For me personally, I don’t mind it too much since I usually wash my face afterwards anyways. ย This make-up remover from Skinfood however doesn’t seem to leave that same oily residue. ย In fact, it kind of makes my skin slightly softer which is quite odd. ย The make-up comes off effortlessly, even long-lasting liquid liner and waterproof mascara. ย Oh, baby!
Fragrance?:
There is a slightly sweet milky floral scent to it which reminds me a lot of the milk skincare products that I have. ย The scent does go away after it is applied to the skin and isn’t a scent that bothers me at all. ย Smell-o-scale= 3/10 in terms of the strength of the scent.
It’s so much fun to shake the bottle haha
When you guys are taking eye make up off, make sure not to rub! ย Just let the cotton sit for 10 seconds and then wipe away gently. ย With the detailed work, use a Q tip. ย Don’t rub! ย Eyes have the thinnest and most fragile skin and is the first to age so take good care of them!
I don’t usually use make up remover to remove my face make up but I thought I’d still just test it out for you guys.
One side done. ย Wow that was easy and effortless!
Before…
After. ย Everything is completely off! ย Whoo~
Pro:
-affordable price
-good amount of product
-make up comes off effortlessly
Con:
Nothing!
Repurchase?:
Yes :).

Overall thoughts:
I haven’t tried many Korean make up removers but I have tried many western ones in my lifetime. ย Luckily for me, the make up removers I have tried all were very good and I never had problems with. ย No breaking out, no skin reactions, make up came off no problem. ย I needed one that was less then $10, in which my local drugstore couldn’t deliver since it came to $12+ average for just a make up remover. ย Luckily for me, I got to pick this off of Jolse and they sent it to me to review so I’m very grateful to finally get my hands on this and report back to you guys if this is worth the hype. ย This make up remover from Skinfood is definitely worth the hype. ย Price point is on point, product is easy to use and make up melts off like butter. ย Overall I really love this product and I’d definitely recommend this to you guys if you are in the market for one from the K-beauty market. ย
Have you guys tried this make up remover from Skinfood? ย Or have you tried any other K-beauty make up removers that you’d recommend for me to try? ย Let me know in the comments down below :).
This review was made possible by Jolse who sent me these products :). ย Oh my goodness I sound like a damn commercial. ย But in all seriousness, Jolse has been a website that I’ve loved for a long time since they offer free shipping with all orders and international shipping which is important for us Canadians and K-beauty lovers all over the world. ย They also are great with bring on the latest K-beauty products onto the website along with great swatches and close up pictures on their blog page as well. ย Check them out if you are in the market to buy a few things :).
