The last product I have from Whalmyung’s minimal line is their eucalming patches.ย At first, I was really confused as to what it was since the description was relatively vague.ย I thought it was one of those pimple patches with built-in purple Azulene which was a bit different than the rest.ย However, when it actually came to me and I opened it, it was actually more like a spot sheet mask type of ordeal. So for those who are confused like me, this review is for you!

Minimal Formula and innovation technology of membrane filtration:
Using the innovative technology of membrane filtration, we achieved minimal formulation by applying the technology on water-in-oil texture, without using any emulsifying ingredients.ย All products are formulation at room temperature in order to preserve the active ingredients’ innate functions and benefits by minimizing damage from heat.ย Water-in-oil texture also features oil and water dual-structure to protect the active ingredients.ย This helps effective delivery of the actives to the skin and provides ample hydration and nourishment with a refreshing, light finish.”

How to use:
Apply patches onto areas that need calming and soothing. Leave them on for 10 minutes. Remove and gently pat the remaining essence into the skin until fully absorbed.ย
For SOS skin soothing, apply an ample amount of serum and layer with Whalmyung Minimal Eucaming Patch on sensitized areas.ย
For cooling down overheated skin, store the patches in a refrigerator to cool and soothes irritation.ย
Product packaging:
Each patch comes in a packet like this and contains 2 patches.ย I believe the packaging is biodegradable since it’s made of paper.ย Ther are 15 packets in one box and retails for $31.
Texture + results:
The three products I have tried from this line all have almost the same ingredients list.ย The whole minimal line uses membrane filtration technology by applying the technology on water-in-oil texture without using any emulsiying ingredients.ย All the products are created at room temperature to preserve active ingredients since heat does damage active ingredients.
The pad itself can fit my whole cheek and is well soaked with the serum.ย There is a very long lasting cooling, calming sensation which I usually only achieve through leaving my skincare products in the fridge.ย Even after leaving the patch on my cheeks for 15 minutes and moving it on my forehead and chin, the patch is still well soaked with serum and doesn’t dry up.
After I’m done with spot treatment for my face, I take the patch and rub it on my neck and arms and there is STILL a lot of product.
The finish, just like the cream and serum, absorbs into the skin quickly and leaves no greasy finish but a very hydrated and moisture protected skin. All three of the products are pretty much the same to me and I would choose one of the three depending on your needs and wants.

Overall thoughts:
Overall I think this is definitely one of the better pads I have tried in my days. It truly hydrates, calms, and soothes the skin and the pad doesn’t dry out quickly.ย In fact, it can last more than 30 minutes of use on my face and I’d still have a leftover product to massage into my neck and arms.ย I’d definitely recommend you give it a try if you want a product that actually works with all skin types and hydrates lightly but just enough.ย Two thumbs up and definitely check them out, especially when they have a sale when major holidays hit!
