I really don’t know how to do introductions nowadays haha so I’m just going to write like the way I speak.ย I’ve never turned to K-beauty for highlights since their trend for bronzers, blushes and highlighters are usually more natural.ย Some could say it looks natural, but others might say it is not pigmented enough.ย When it comes to highlighters, I want something that packs a punch like Becca or MAC highlighters. I got the chance to pick out three items from A’pieu and my curiosity got the best of me.ย So here we are, trying out the A’pieu 3D highlighter together so let’s get into it!

How to use:
With a brush or your hands, apply onto the high points of your face such as the top of your cheekbones, bridge of your nose, cupid’s bow, chin as well as your forehead for a natural glow.
Packaging:
The compact is the same as the contour with its sleek black packaging, mirror on the inside and of course the pressed powder.ย Not much to say here haha.
Color/ Pigmentation:
Again I wanted to see if this would compare with the Too Cool For school highlighter and yes, I can see that my TCFS highlighter (to the right) is messed up LOL.ย Color wise, they don’t compare at all.ย A’pieu’s (left) colors are a lot more light and almost kind of blends all into one shade to be honest.ย The only shade that looks different if you were to use it alone would be the pinky shade to the right which would be a gorgeous blush shade!ย TCFS’s is about two shades darker and the shade range is slightly warmer as well.
Texture/ Finish:
I actually find A’pieu highlighter way more pigmented and the texture is softer and more buttery then TCFS.ย With one swipe, it shows true to color on the skin and is also pigmented enough for me to look like a UFO if I want it to.ย TCFS’s highlighter is more like the typical Korean standard highlighter, not bad but not pigmented enough!

Here’s my face with everything on but highlighter.ย And if your wondering, the blush is from Faux pas Paris.ย So so GOOD!
I usually like to use a brush.ย I love this brush from Sonia Kashuk #29 brush but I don’t know if it is still available nowadays.ย Sonia Kashuk really has one of the best affordable brushes.ย If you can get your hands on them, definitely give them a shot.

Lasting power:
Since it is so pigmented, this highlighter really lasts all day on my dry skin.ย So So good!!

Overall thoughts:
This is definitely the best highlighter I have tried to date and am really impressed with it.ย I truly am impressed since A’pieu is sometimes hit or miss but this product is a definite hit!! For 10,000 won, you honestly can’t beat it.ย Overall I give this product a two thumbs up and it didn’t get holy grail status since it lost some points on the colors being too close together to be able to use separately.ย I give you my good to go buy thumbs up :).
