I am back and ready to create more content for you guys.ย It’s been about a month now that I’ve settled into my new place and have finally got the rest of my stuff.ย Ugh, it took so darn long but we’re finally here.ย Being up north, I knew the air is much drier and my skin was noticeable drier during the many times I came to visit.ย Heck, I even was developing atopic dermatitis on my stomach and am still trying to actively get rid of it.ย I knew I had to be well equipped with body lotion.ย So here we are, 1L of body lotion later.

First off, I have to say, this is the biggest bottle of body lotion I’ve ever owned.ย I actually gave the final decision to my boyfriend to pick, and he ended up picking this Beyond deep moisturize honey body emulsion.ย I’m not sure if he was just attracted to the giant bottle, or was he happy I gave him a body emulsion since it is lighter.ย Either way, I’ll never understand his modern caveman mind.
The bottle truly is big though, almost the same size as a 2L milk jug for us here in Canada! There is a convenient pump, which is the best part and the most convenient format for body lotions in my opinion.
Texture/ Finish:
Texture-wise, this is definitely much lighter than most body lotions I’ve tried.ย The texture is just like the name, body emulsion.ย It is not yet a regular cream, yet it isn’t as thin as a toner.ย It is just right and it easily absorbs into the body.ย That’s one of the things that hinder me from wanting to use more body lotion, and dry down time!ย I don’t want to be standing in the washroom butt naked for 5 minutes, waiting for the body lotion to dry down.
Not only does this dry down relatively quickly, but it also leaves my skin softened, smelling nice, and nourished all at the same time.ย I don’t feel a thick layer on the top of my skin and my body isn’t ashy anymore!
Fragrance?:
This is a medium-strength scented body lotion with a fragrance of honey, musk, and a slight milky end note.ย Sadly, the honey fragrance used is that sickening, artificial honey scent.ย However, I think the amount they use is just enough that it doesn’t make me want to gag.ย Smell-o-scale: 6/10 in terms of strength of the scent and it does fade after application.

Overall thoughts:
I’m quite happy with this body lotion.ย Although I’m not one to try many body products, this body emulsion is definitely a keeper.ย I’m one to always neglect the rest of my skin other than my face, which is a habit I’m trying to break.ย This body lotion really does make me want to use it more due to its fast-absorbing nature yet nourishing and hydrating.ย Overall, I’m very pleased and would recommend it to you guys.
