Cosrx one brand review part 2

Cosrx one brand reviewI think it is safe to say I’m familiar to Cosrx’s products to say the least.  If you saw my first Cosrx one brand review, you might have noticed that I didn’t include the more recent releases and that’s because I didn’t feel like I had enough to say about them.  Now that there are so many more releases and that I’ve also tried them all, I think it is a good time to let you guys in on the honest opinions right?  Let’s get started!!

Cosrx Balancium reviewCosrx Balancium comfort ceramide cream 80 mL $26

I know some of you guys may not be happy with all the exclusives that Cosrx has been releasing, but if you can get your hands on this cream… I would ;).  This (as you can read in the title) is an Amazon US prime exclusive and I’m not too sure if it is a permanent prime exclusive so I’ll have to check on that.  I’ve been reading that a lot of people are saying it is quite expensive compared to the usual price point which is around $10-$20.  I do have to agree but if we do a little bit of math:
-Cosrx low pH BHA overnight mask $21 for 50 mL= $0.42/ mL

-Cosrx Balancium comfort ceramide cream $26 for 80 mL= $0.32/ mL

As you can see, the price isn’t really that far off, especially with the fact that you are getting more product than the average weight.  On top of that, a little goes a long way with this cream and the fact that it has ceramides just makes me and my dry skin happy.  The texture of this Balancium cream is lighter weight then the low pH BHA mask so if you guys bought that cream and felt like it was too thick for your liking, this one would be a better one for you.  I’d say this cream is great for dry, normal and combo skin.  Oily skin I wouldn’t know so I don’t have that skin type but maybe even in the winter time, this could work for you since I don’t find it greasy at all.

Cosrx hydrogel very simple pack reviewCosrx hydrogel very simple pack (Korea exclusive) 22,000 won
AmazonYesstyle, Ohlolly
-Ceramide & Centella Asiatica  as main ingredients for soothing and moisturizing effects
-hydrogel patches of 7 cm in diameter

Ingredients: Water, Glycerin, Calcium Chloride, Ceratonia Siliqua Gum, Xanthan Gum, 1,2-Hexanediol, Pentylene Glycol, Polyglyceryl-4 Caprate, Butylene Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, Chondrus Crispus Powder, Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) Seed Extract, Bambusa Textilis Stem Extract, Pinus Palustris Leaf Extract, Centella Asiatica Extract, Salix Alba (Willow) Bark Extract, Ethylhexylglycerin, Citrus Aurantium Bergamia (Bergamot) Fruit Oil, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Disodium EDTA, Sodium Hyaluronate, Ceramide NP

Before you throw rocks at me for showing you yet another product that you can’t get your hands on, here is the hydrogel very simple pack which is only sold in Korea.  If you don’t know, this product was made in collaboration with Hanbyul who is a Korean beauty content creator who apparently was responsible for the popularity of the pimple pads in Korea.  So Cosrx decided it would be a great collab. and thus, this hydrogel pack happened.  I actually got to see this product in person back in January but couldn’t say a word and was dying of excitement then only to find out that it couldn’t be sold outside of Korea at the moment due to contract agreements.  I bugged my little Cosrx fairy almost every time we talked to just sneak me a bottle, mostly for memory sake but also am on a personal mission to try everything Cosrx makes.

I’ve been using this a ton during the summer days when I’m dying of heat.  I stick this in the fridge and slap them on when I just want to run away from the heat.  It is supercooling and the essence is very lightweight and not sticky, perfect for the weather right now.  My mom actually got slightly sunburnt on the cheeks the other day and I slapped two on her cheeks and she loves it too.  I am not kind of regretting telling her where my stash is.  I’ve nicknamed her the “thieving mother” after she secretly took half my Amorepacific rejuvenating eye cream and didn’t tell me.  Now I’m going to have none of these lefts and will be sad forever T_T.

If you want to check out Hanbyul’s collaboration story, watch the video :D.

P.S. this jar has a SHIT ton of essence so I really wouldn’t suggest you travel with this.

Cosrx low pH first cleansing milk gel reviewCosrx low pH first cleansing milk gel 17,000 won (discontinued)
-low irritant primary cleanser that gently removes sunscreen and base make up
-pH 5.5, weakly acidic milk gel, low irritation

Ingredients: Water, Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethicone, Dipropylene Glycol, Olive Oil PEG-7 Esters, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, 1,2-Hexanediol, PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate, Arginine, Carbomer, Caprylyl Glycol, Citrus Aurantium Bergamot , Acrylates / C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Allantoin, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Butylene Glycol, Cyclomethicone, Disodium EDTA, Carica Papaya (Papaya) Fruit Extract, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Extract

I never thought I would say this but I think I found a new holy grail cleanser to use every day.  For years and years I’ve been loving the Cosrx low pH good morning gel cleanser and now I have to say, this new milk gel cousin has replaced my love for the first gel cleanser.  The texture of this milk gel cleanser just feels more hydrating than the low pH cleanser which contains tea tree (I didn’t realize until recently).  The milk gel also has the ability to lightly break down makeup but I still use a cleansing balm before using this since its make up removal power isn’t strong.  A lot of you guys have asked me which cleanser out of the two to pick and this is what I would tell you.

If your concern is hydration–> gel cleanser
If your concern is just to cleanse–> low pH cleanser

Cosrx low pH BHA overnight mask reviewCosrx low pH BHA overnight mask 18,000 won (discontinued)
-weak acid sleeping cream that helps smooth rough skin surface due to sebum and old keratin

-slightly acidic (pH 4.5)

When I first got this, I really didn’t know how to use it properly.  The instructions were kind of vague and I just assumed it was a sleeping mask of some sort.  Of course, you can use it that way, but one of the Cosrx members told me it is best to use it on top of moisturizer.  I’ve tried both ways and I love it either way.  I personally use it a bit more as a topper since I’m scared to run out of this beauty.  The texture is slightly balmy and on the thicker side so those of you who have dry skin or even combo like me would absolutely love this.

Look at me!  I’m hand modeling :D.

Cosrx two in one poreless power liquid reviewCosrx two in one poreless power liquid 19,000 won
Amazon, YesstyleStylevanaStyleKoreanJolseBeautynetkoreaOhlolly

-tannin and BHA ingredients to help pore care and sebum care

-natural salicylic acid (natural BHA) extracted from white willow bark and tannins to aid pore contraction
-instant cooling and moisturizing power of cone mint extract to help cool pores

Okay, my feelings for these products is still undecided to this day.  This also goes for their BHA and AHA liquids.  I don’t know if I’m just the wrong candidate when it comes to those types of products, but I don’t ever really see much results.  This product is supposed to be able to help with your pores by cleaning them out and maintaining them in the long run but the only pores that I really got is the ones on my nose and they are so small and deep that I always have to manually extract them.  I think I’m going to hand this to the mystery man and get him to try it out since his blackheads come back like no tomorrow and are pretty big.  I’ve read so many other people’s reviews and they said it works magic on them so I really don’t know.

Cosrx cooling aqua facial mist reviewCosrx cooling aqua facial mist $15 (discontinued)
-Moisturizes and refreshes the skin
-Formulated with aloe, amino acids, and antioxidants
-Suitable for all skin types

Yet another exclusive product but at least Revolves ships internationally am I, right? Anyways this is another mist to add to the lineup and this one has more cooling properties and is great for the summer time.  I’ve been carrying this around with me to cool off and hydrate myself and the mister at first was like “ugh so extra” until I spritz it on him and he had nothing to say.  Then when I went to spritz myself the second time and didn’t on him, he was like “hey where’s my spritz”.  LOL  Not much to it, it’s just a simple mist that does its job well and keeps me cool during the summer.
