Lipstick that I actually like?!? (Superface lipsync lipstick Review + swatches)

Although I don’t wear much lipsticks on a daily basis solely because I’m lazy in the reapplication department, Korean lipsticks are some of the best I’ve tried.  They have tons of formulations from matte, velvet to glossy and tinted.  Now getting so deep into the Superface brand, I didn’t know what to expect with their lipsticks since some of the stuff was hit or miss for me. I do have to say this company makes some of the best lip products after how they blew me out of the waters with their soft blur lip mousses.  With all that being said, I’m happy to show you another gem :).  Let’s get into it!!  This one is for people like me who hate wearing lipsticks but I might just change your mind with this one.

There is actually two lines to their lipsticks.  This line is the lipsync lipstick S in the nude range.

And these are the regular lipsticks that isn’t in the nude line.  All of them look so pretty!!!  I got my eyes on 06 so sweet.  I don’t know why I gravitate towards lavender shades haha.

How to use:
Simply take the lipstick and swipe it on your lips or apply it with a lip brush.

Packaging:
Packaging for this lipstick is top notch. It reminds me a lot of Nars audacious lipsticks with its slightly rubberized texture and a magnetic closure.

The lipstick bullet also twists up so effortlessly.  I’m surprised this lipstick is only $20 because it really feels like a $40 lipstick you get at a high end department store.

Color/ Pigmentation:
Since I only got one lipstick from them, I can only tell you how the pigmentation is with the shade I got which is 03 sunrise.

03 sunrise: Cool undertoned raspberry shade
Like I have said before, I don’t really like lipsticks because they either look way too bright on my pale skin or it just looks a little overdone.  This shade is perfect because it is almost the same shade as my natural lip color but it just evens everything out.  The perfect MLBB (my lips but better).

Texture/ Finish:
This lipstick is almost like a tinted moisturizer but with way more pigmentation.  One swipe and you get the job done.  It is super moisturizing and glides over any dry skin that I have.  If you look closely in the picture, you can see a bit of dry skin on the top lip but it is barely noticeable since the lipstick does such a good job.  But just keep in mind that this isn’t a tinted lipstick or anything and does transfer, so you’ll definitely have to reapply.

Lasting power:
Since this is a hydrating lipstick, it will transfer.  Average wear time for this lipstick is about 2 hours before it completely fades. Of course, if your eating, it will fade away a lot faster.

Fragrance?:
All of Superface’s lip product has this beautiful light, fruity mango scent and I totally love it!  It is easy on the nose, not too strong and just smells yummy!  Smell-o-scale: 5/10 in terms of how strong the scent is.

Pro:
-super hydrating (glides over dead skin)
-pigmented but never overdone
-good range of shades to choose from

Con:
-a little hard to get… but that’s how you find gems 😉

Yes!  I want all the shades!!!

Overall thoughts:
This lipstick is bomb af and it definitely is now in my holy grail list.  It is everything I want my ideal lipstick to be, hydrating, pigmented but doesn’t look overdone and it wouldn’t be the only thing you’d be looking if I were to have this on my face. I don’t really have anything else to chant about at this point, only that I really love this lipstick and would love to explore what other shades they have :).  Two thumbs up.Product gifted by Superface.  Not a sponsored post.
