Missha glow balm reviewProduct packaging:
This glow balm comes in a heavy glass jar with a screw-on top that never seems to align properly unless you screw it on really tightly.ย  The rose gold chrome attracts a lot of fingerprints but, its prettyyyyy!!ย  I always try to wipe it down to keep it clean but honestly, it is inevitable.

Best hydrating balm make up primerThis product also comes with a plastic spatula but I have so many of them to the point of having to hide them in a chest.ย  Too… many.

missha glow reviewTexture/ Finish:
This balm is a legit balm.ย  It is thick but melts into the skin easily, leaving a glowy and dewy finish.ย  However, if you don’t have dry to normal skin, this may be too heavy for you.ย  If you have combo skin, I would only recommend using it on your dry patches and not your T zone or else it would be trouble!

K-beauty hydrating balm for dry skin

Dry skin make up primer koreanWow, that doesn’t show much LOL.ย  Let’s skip to the demo.

Missha glow skin balm review

Missha glow primerI would highly recommend using your fingers for this since the balm melts better into the skin with some warmth.ย  But my cautionary tale for you guys is to use as little as possible if you are putting foundation on right after.ย  Too much will cause your foundation to ball up weirdly or make your foundation slide around.

Missha glow skin balm reviewBefore (left) and after (right).ย  There is a clear difference and a clear glow too.ย  Ugh my dry skin lovessss.

MIssha glow skin balmBefore (left) and after (right).ย  Yes, my skin is quite irritated lately from the weather change and hormones.ย  Don’t we all just love hormones -_-.

best korean hydrating primer reviewWith this balm, I find it way easy to not get those flakey patches and my base make up’s moisture levels lasts way longer than usual.ย  This is definitely the perfect glowy makeup base and you can use it by itself as a normal moisturizer if you want.

Fragrance?:
There is a light fruity (maybe mango) scent that is really pleasant that fades away after application, which kind of makes me sad haha.ย  Smell-o-scale in terms of how strong the scent is, 4/10.

Fragrance ingredients: Cananga Odorata Flower Oil, Citrus Reticulata Leaf Oil (tangerine leaf oil) which can be slightly irritating to those who are sensitive, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride

Pro:
-super glowy
-highly moisturizing due to squalene, shea butter, macadamia seed oil, seabuckthorn oil
-makeup hydration levels lasts longer

Con:
-contains citrus oil that can be irritating for some people

Repurchase?:
Maybe

Overall thoughts:
To my surprise when I was reading the description and ingredients, there is actually rose water (
Rosa Damascena Flower Water) but my skin hasn’t reacted badly to it.ย  I’m going to have to revise the other products I’ve tried that had rose products in it and cross-reference to pinpoint which rose ingredient is the one that irritates my skin like no other.ย  Other than that, I really like this skin glow balm and it is just like what the name says.ย  It is thick, melts into your skin, and gives you the most beautiful glow.ย  I do have to advise that there are citrus oils in it, so if you are sensitive to essential oils or you’re just trying to avoid it, maybe skip this product.ย  Overall I really do like this product and love the glow it gives my skin, but I’ll have to keep an eye out to see if it makes my skin itchy in the long run.ย  So far so good though, so I think I’m safe.
