My products are my most sacred possessions. I use them every night, every day.ย I would write about them when I have such a crush so intense, I don’t know what else to do but to spread the word.ย There is more than five total, and today I’m going to uncover some of the worse products I have tried to date.ย I don’t usually do this, but I think it is time to let you guys in on the secret.ย Oh and if you haven’t noticed by now, the title was inspired by the Netflix original movie “To all the boys I’ve loved before“. It was a cute movie, nothing really deep and I love that the main character was Asian!!!ย What a year for Asian actors :D.ย Anyways, please keep in mind there are brands I love in here, there are some that are new. By no means am I bashing the brand, these products just didn’t react well with my skin or it was personal preferences that interfered me in liking the products.ย Let’s get into it!
Blanc and eclare serein moisturizing cream

Blanc and Eclare, a brand created by ex Girls generation member Jessica back in 2014, created their own cosmetic brand which consists of 11 skincare products.ย Beautytap sent me a couple of their products including the serein moisturizing cream and serien nourishing night cream along with their eye cream and lip balm.ย The eye cream and lip balm I do like but the two moisturizers do absolutely nothing for my skin.ย Maybe because my skin is so damn dry that this just isn’t moisturizing enough or what, but I found my skin feeling so tight and dry even after layering this on with my other usual essences and serums.ย Let’s just say, my day was not so great walking around with tight ass skin all day long and not having moisturizing in my bag.ย On top of that, the price of $50 is a bit high for something that didn’t blow me out of the waters, ingredients wise and effects wise as well.
Cosrx triple C lighting liquid (Sokoglam exclusive)

If you guys don’t know already, I’m kind of like Cosrx ambassador.ย I have a really tight relationship with them and I know all their products inside out.ย One product I really wanted to try was their triple C lighting liquid which is exclusive to Sokoglam and can only be bought through Sokoglam.ย So I was super stoked when my Cosrx fairy snuck me a bottle to try which then I find out my skin is BURNING!ย I’ve never had this reaction before and from my experiences, this isn’t the only vitamin C product that reacts to my skin.ย I’ve also read a lot of people have this reaction to vitamin C so I’m not really alone in this boat.ย I’ve tried to mix it into moisturizers, using it in small doses, nothing…. Nothing is helping my cause and I just have to admit it now that this is the only product I can’t use and love from Cosrx. </3
I Dew Care double down 2 step mask

When I got this in the mail, I was super duper excited.ย Memebox was the start, the spark, the beginning of my love for K-beauty and to see them evolve into what they are now is quite amazing.ย They even have a new brand heading to Sephora called Kaja and I’m more than ecstatic to see it in person.ย I dew care is a skincare brand that is sold in Ulta and they came out with this two-step mask system couple months back.ย Step one is a peeling pad and you guys KNOW I loveeeee me some peeling anything.ย Peeling gel, peeling pads, peeling, peeling.ย Nothing really out of the ordinary when I took it out of the package, just a soaked cotton pad with one abrasive side and one smooth side.ย Boy oh, boy did this peeling pad does more than peel my skin.ย It BURNED MY FOREHEAD MAN!ย I don’t know how on earth that happened and I for sure didn’t rub hard or anything, but I’ve NEVER had that happen to me.ย I quickly had to wash it off but the burning sensation kept going.ย Even putting on my trusty Cosrx holy snail mask (which is unfortunately discontinued) was painful to even put it on.ย I can’t seem to find the picture of my amazing forehead but for two weeks, my forehead felt super rough, super raw and had tiny craters all over.ย The only product that came to the rescue was Purito, a new underdog brand that needs more love.
Dessert table very moist berry cream
I can’t seem to find the information in English but basically, this brand created a line with 7 berry complex as their main focus.ย I came across this brand on Instagram and thought they looked interested and wanted to try it for myself.ย 2018 was a year of discovering new indie brands, and this definitely was in line with that.ย The packaging was simplistic and super cute but when I got it in the mail, I was thoroughly disappointed.ย The jars were super thin and cheap plastic, almost like children’s make up the type of look.ย The cream smells nothing like berries but generic floral fragrance.ย On top of that, the scent was wayyyyy too strong for my liking, a sign that is telling me I shouldn’t be putting it on my face.ย Nonetheless, I still gave it a try and it didn’t do much for my skin nor was it hydrating enough.ย After trying it about three times, I gave up trying to like it.ย It’s just not for me and it also didn’t leave a lasting impression on me.
Dessert table very moist berry mist
This kind if is in line with my thoughts on their cream.ย The fragrance is wayyyyy too strong and for this product being a mist, it is almost like me spraying perfume all over my face.ย Not exactly pleasant to say the lease.ย Surprisingly, this brand can be found in Urban Outfitters.ย Hmmm…ย For 17,900 won, I’d get myself a Cosrx face mist or better yet, 107 oneoseven rose vinegar water mist that is amazingly hydrating and contains fermented vinegar to balance everything out.
Commleaf rose sleeping mask
Another brand I came across on Instagram, this is a brand that bases their products around rose as well as two other products that are peeling liquids (AHA honey & propolis and AHA green tea peeling liquid).ย I did reach out to them to see if they could send me the peeling liquid for me to try but they sent their whole rose line instead.ย Please don’t take this as me being ungrateful because I’m always grateful when companies send me products, but rose is one of the few ingredients my skin is allergic to.ย Sometimes it doesn’t react to my skin, sometimes it does.ย I think it depends on how potent it is in the product and whatnot.ย Luckily this rose sleeping mask didn’t break me out but again, did nothing for my skin and just left me waking up to super dry skin.ย Tried it about two times and can’t say it is for my very dry skin type.ย I do like their moisture pads which is now replacing my Cosrx moisture up pads which I ran out of hehe.ย As for their face mist, I’m still iffy to use it too much because of evil rose but I’ll ease my way into it.
Elizavecca milky piggy hell pore perfect wine peeling pad
Elizavecca is an amazing brand that is always offering me to send me products to try and I feel really bad for not ever writing about them.ย Truth of the matter is, I can never really seem to find a product I like from them.ย The cute piggy concept and their fun and innovative products are eye-catching but somehow, nothing really to my liking.ย I do actually have one product I like from them now that they sent along with this product (Peptide 3D fix shooting bubble facial essence).ย Anyways, I tried this peeling pad for the first time long ago and was horrified to see my face being all red.ย I was like huh?ย This pad isn’t even rough or anything, why is my skin looking this red??ย Oh, the essence leaves my skin looking red LOL.ย What the heck?ย I was so scared it was going to stain my whole face so I had to wash it off.ย But it doesn’t make sense for an essence, a product you should be leaving on your face to soak, to leave a red color on your skin right?ย Of course, I’m not going to walk out looking like sunburn toast.ย Therefore, this is a product that will not receive love from me, unfortunately.ย
T’iam my signature red C serum

T’iam is another brand that doesn’t excite me that much.ย When they first launched the brand, they send me almost all their products to try and I did actually really like their aura milk product.ย I’ve been trying to like their newer products but it is a no go.ย Either it doesn’t work for my skin type or it just doesn’t interest me.ย One of the products that were introduced to me by Luna from T’iam was they’re my signature red C serum.ย I was gifted one to bring back home to try and WOW.ย I thought I got a bad one or something but apparently not.ย Skinfullofseoul even stated that it almost “smells metallic when it hits the skin” and to me, it smells like month old coffee.ย The scent also doesn’t go away after application, it kind of just lingers like a demon hovering under my nostrils.ย On top of that, this also somewhat burns my skin.ย Not as much as the Cosrx one since the vitamin C is more diluted.
Hope you guys liked this post.ย I’ve never really did round ups of products I don’t like, so it is kind of fun to do.ย There are many many products I don’t like but I just feel bad for talking bad about them.ย At the same time, I think it is important to let you in on my thoughts even if I do piss off some companies.ย Those companies that are brave enough to still work with me are definitely the ones we should be buying from ;).ย ย
