Beauty of Majesty Dewy lip balm review + swatches

I’m always in the market for a good lip balm.  I’ve tried a ton of lip balms and lip treatments to know when I got a good one and this brand B.O.M (Beauty of Majesty) is a real solid brand.  They were introduced to me by Beautytap but they don’t seem to have the brand on there anymore oddly enough.  Nonetheless I’ll try to see where else this brand is sold since the pink shade really is like a dupe for the Dior lip glow ;).  Let’s get into it!

I can’t find the ingredients list in English but here are the four key ingredients in the lip balm:

Shea butter: maintain proper moisture balance and helps prevent aging and improves circulation of the skin

Mung Bean protein: Rich in mung bean protein and vitamins; calms and helps eliminate waste and cleanses

Vitamin E: Prevents aging and inhibits oxidation of cell membrane to nourish dry and fragile skin

Pearl: helps improve skin texture and makes skin look fresh
How to use:
Simply swipe over the lips to coat and nourish.

Product packaging:
Packaging is sleek and simple of effortlessly sophisticated.  The whole black and white theme really works for them and the bottom has a color coded label for quick indication of which shade is which.

To push the product up, all you got to do is twist it up.  Really nothing crazy here haha.

Colour/ pigmentation + texture:
These lip balms from BOM comes in three versions, original which is colourless, 02 pure red which has a red tint and 03 pure pink that reminds me a lot of Dior glow with its natural flush of pink that would suit any skintones.

Demo time!

Oh yea, nice and dry… gross.  I also hate it when I smile and it is so dry that it cracks.

01 pure vanilla: colorless lip balm

I love the texture of these lip balms.  They are highly moisturizing and leaves a lasting hydration even after the product has been absorbed.  That is when you know you got a good lip balm.  I hate those lip balms that feel great when you have it on but ends up drying up your lips in the long run *EOS cough cough*.02 Pure red: Warm red tinted balm

If you want slightly more color the your MLBB, this is a great one for you. I think I should start wearing this to ease myself into wearing more bold lips out.  I got so many lippies that are going to waste!!  When I wear this shade, I like to have 03 pure pink all over the lips and 02 pure red in the center of my lips when I want to look extra natural but kind of dolly.

03 Pure pink: Light pink tint

This shade is my absolute favourite one of the three.  It really reminds me of the Dior lip glow and kind of like Memebox’s old I’m tint balm.  Click on the link if you’d like to see a reference but this one from BOM is truly the closest dupe so far from K-beauty.  I actually think this is more moisturizing the the Dior lip glow too!

Fragrance?:
All of these have a light vanilla scent to them and fades after application.  Smell-o-scale: 5/10 in terms of how strong the scent is.

Pro:
-super hydrating; long lasting moisture
-gorgeous shades

Con:
Hard to get!  The heck man~~

Repurchase?:
Yes!  I’d most definitely get 03 pure pink again when I run out.

Stars given out of 5:
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Overall thoughts:
I just noticed the past couple of reviews are all lip products but I have a lot of lippie reviews to catch up to so please don’t mind.  I promise the next review will be face products mmkay? 😉  Anyways, I absolutely adore these lip balms and its a shame they are hard to get now that Beautytap doesn’t carry the brand anymore.  Hopefully they will expand to other online retailers because this brand is definitely an underdog we all should be on the look out for.  Overall two thumbs up and highly recommend these babies.
